If your eyes are on Jesus, you don't have to look for the devil. Like sheep in the fold, when they see the shepherd among them, they know they don't have to worry about the enemy coming in to get them. They're at perfect rest.

Wouldn't you rather spend precious time praising the LORD and talking with Him and listening to His tender Voice than to be fearfully looking over your shoulder for the enemy all the time?

Anyhow, GOD gives His angels charge over you to keep you all the time. And He covers you with His feathers like a hen does her chicks. Jesus said don't be anxious, that He goes before you making a way. You can't look at Jesus and the devil at the same time.

Luke 10:20 - Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.
