Your signature quote is a wonderful motto as well, Heart_Melody! :D

Speak to all people as though they were the wisest. gentlest, most beautiful beings on earth -

Another motto I like:

If the Lord Jesus can conform the winds and the sea to obey His will, He is able to conform me, too. :)

Murphy's Law: "Everything that can go wrong, will go wrong."

O'Toole's Commentary on Murphy's Law: "Murphy was an optimist."

Hmm... So I am suddenly a hardcore optimist? I am not sure if I can live with that. Clearly I have to find something negative to complain about..... life is too good at the moment and it is Friday. It is going to be a difficult task.

No, O'Toole was saying Murphy was an optimist. Murphy claimed everything that could go wrong would go wrong, but some things that cannot possibly go wrong still go wrong anyway.

My motto would be "why do tomorrow what you can do today"..... tourist has the reverse version.... or maybe it's slave (not sure).

I only remember mikey saying it..... maybe only in the cartoon.... haven't seen the movie
It was at the end of the first movie.

All through the movie Donatello was having trouble coming up with synonyms for "cool." Everybody else would be saying stuff about how rad, gnarly, etc. it was when they did whatever they had just done, and when Donny's turn came he would freeze.

One time Donny even pulled out a classical music reference. "Bossa Nova!" Everyone just turned and stared at him. "Uh... Chevy Nova?" They kept staring. "Hmm... Excellent!"

At the end of the movie they were talking about how groovy it was when they aced Shredder's goons, and when Donatello couldn't come up with a good one they were trying to give him suggestions. Then Splinter said "Ahem! I have always liked... cowabunga!"
