Default What Fictional Character are You?

Everybody wants to be somebody else at times. So I’m simply asking:

    What fictional character are you?

Author, actor/actress, politician, Justice or whatnot.

Ladies and gentlemen, the floor is yours.

    I go first.

    Aaaaand I’m.....Lucy Preston from Timeless.

...Luthien Tinuviel, don't you read? .

In all seriousness, that probably wouldn't be who I would enjoy actually BEING. We'll go with Elizabeth Bennet, from Pride and Prejudice (book).
“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.”

Bagheera, complete with the aversion to swimming, but without the stick-in-the-mud aspect.

I would like to be Elizabeth Bennett. A true hero. Intelligent and sweet. Virtuous but not prudish. Musical but not boasting about it. Well read. Witty. Beautiful, but her persona overshaddows her beauty.

    But I am not.

So I think I have to settle for something less noble. Bridget Jones is more tragic and realistic. Very clumsy. But still, as Miss Bennett, ends up with Darcy.

Can we suggest characters for other users, or just fictional characters for ourselves?

As long as you have a TARDIS, I am in love. (just the wrong generation doctor... but that should be easily fixed by a trip on the TARDIS)

Well, the posts of the other users put a whole new spin on it in terms of who you actually are, instead of who you'd like to be. In that case I'm much more of a Fanny Price. No exceedingly talented, reserved, shy, but opinionated. I'll continue to think about this one...

I identify most with Jane Eyre. Plain, quiet, teacher, sensitive, bad temper, nosy.

Well I like to think I'm a cross between Eowyn of Rohan and Rebecca of York. Not sure if that's accurrate or not, but that's what I like to think.

I'm not a bad guy. I'm just misunderstood.

Who I'd like to aspire to be... Sarah Connor, of course!!!

That's the LAST time someone says NO to me when I ask (politely!) for a taste of their food!!

Who I'm more like in real life:

    Violet from The Incredibles.

I'm not quite as timid as Violet, but I'm always reading something, tend to turn invisible around a guy I like, and if I could, I would put a force field around all my friends and family.

I've always thought the oldest sister in Little Women, Meg, reminded me of myself. Not too dramatic, not too materialistic... just a down to earth sister.

But I also have my Lumpy space princess (from adventure time) side as well. If you don't know who she is... go to YouTube and educate yourself :P
If a person has ugly thoughts, it begins to show on the face. And when that person has ugly thoughts every day, every week, every year, the face gets uglier and uglier until you can hardly bear to look at it.

A person who has good thoughts cannot ever be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth, but if you have good thoughts it will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely.

The funny part is I got back into the Tolkien legendarium after running into you on here.

So whenever I read or hear about Tinuviel, I think of this armed High School-aged Dakotan rather than an elven princess. A very unique reading experience, I'm sure. :P
