I know I have posted many depressive posts and self pitying posts, too. But this time I want to lift up the morning. Because we are all promised that joy comes in the morning and that God's mercy is fresh every morning.

When I have had one of those many tough days, I remind myself of these two things when I go to bed. And for me it has become two essential truths I couldn't live without.

So. This is the thread to post happy morning moments....(it seems most of you are night owls, but still. When you wake up, whether it is already PM... it can be defined as morning)

I love waking up and have cuddle my dogs, feeding them and just see how happy and grateful they are. Over the same routines and the same boring feed. It is party time. Every single morning.

I love waking up in my own bed. The past few months have reminded me what a luxury that is.

I love waking up knowing I have plenty of food and enough money to pay my bills. I am blessed.

Morn, morn everbody.

You know the feeling when you come just a few minutes too late to the lecture, and you find out it is cancelled. This is a great morning, indeed.

I love that God's mercies are new every day. Whatever I have done yesterday, today is a new day. God doesn't hold yesterday's mistakes against me, He just says "You can do better today."

And as Scott Krippayne said, if God's mercies are new every day, "I'll be waking up early."

Today, after recovering from a horrible winter, the sky is so blue, not a cloud in the sky. The birds are chattering away.

I love to feel the breeze and warmth. My soul feels energised. Plus the bonus of Vitamin D !! I love fresh air in general.
Just pondering on how God made us, and all the birds, the trees. Maybe that's corny, but I'm just glad the weather is better today. Pity I gotta work on the sunniest day so far.... :cool:

Enjoy your day, I love dogs. Really want another one, but not feasible at moment. Dogs are awesome !!! Thank God for them!

So far this week we have had heavy snow, heavy fog, and dreary.

Today we have bright sunshine. Praise the Lord! :)

Joy to the World! The Lord Is Come !
Let earth receive her King;
Let every heart prepare Him room,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven and nature sing,
And heaven, and heaven, and nature sing.

Joy to the earth, the Savior reigns!
Let men their songs employ;
While fields and floods, rocks, hills and plains
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat the sounding joy,
Repeat, repeat, the sounding joy.

No more let sins and sorrows grow,
Nor thorns infest the ground;
He comes to make His blessings flow
Far as the curse is found,
Far as the curse is found,
Far as, far as, the curse is found.

He rules the world with truth and grace,
And makes the nations prove
The glories of His righteousness,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders of His love,
And wonders, wonders, of His love.

(Words by Isaac Watts, 1719)
