I think verbal is both writing and speaking.

Originally, oral is speaking, and verbal is writing, but far as I know, the prurient associations connected with the word oral has made verbal also apply to the spoken word.

I thought it comes from "verbum" that means "word". And I like words...

My preferred method of communication would be Morse Code.

If that's not available, I can settle with Base64.

My preferred mode of communication with most people is long distance.

It's also the best and safest mode of communication with werewolves, vampires and zombies.

I am verbal, better in writing than speaking. I sometimes stutter and sound insecure when I speak. Sometimes I have a sharp tongue and can make an argument fall apart with my punch line. So. I express myself in semliong essays or articles.

What is a semliong essay...? Or were you just expressing yourself through creative spelling?
