The temptation to quit will become a thing of the past for us, when we understand God's faithfulness towards us. The Word records God's instruction for us to not be afraid, 365 times! And in almost everyone of those statements, the phrase, 'He is faithful' is included. There is no question concerning God's faithfulness, especially when it comes to being faithful to honor His Word. 2 Timothy 2:13 says, "If we are faithless [do not believe and are untrue to Him], He remains true (faithful to His Word and His righteous character), for He cannot deny Himself." That verse by no means gives licence to a child of God to expect Him to turn a blind eye, and excuse their faithlessness towards Him. In fact the verse immediately before says, "If we endure, we shall also reign with Him. If we deny and disown and reject Him, He will also deny and disown and reject us."

The Word of God clearly states that God is faithful and true to His Word. That means, when we deliberately walk out of His will for us, we will walk in the consequences of that choice. However, if we take Him at His Word, draw close to Him and choose to live led by the Spirit of God, He is honor bound to His Word, to back every promise we hold on to, and see it fulfilled. In 2 Chronicles 16:9 NLT, we read that "the eyes of the LORD search the whole earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed [FAITHFUL] to him". We firmly believe that the faithful will flourish, just as God's Word promises, and we can completely rely on His faithfulness to honor this promise. God's deep desire is for us to live victoriously, and in order to do this, faithfulness to His Word is required on our part. Today, thank Him for His faithfulness and commit yourself to be faithful to Him, through the power of His Holy Spirit within you.

Maybe this is the 365th

Matthew 6:34
34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

GOP, please stop "bumping" your own threads repeatedly just for the sake of keeping them on the front page.
