One of the greatest challenges plaguing Christians is passivity. Passivity is allowing things to push you around, without you responding in any way. When we become victims to our circumstances and allow them to dictate the course of our lives, we give into the bullying tactics of the enemy. Nothing can be more frustrating to the heart of God, than seeing His children ignore the freedom and power He paid for them to have, with the life blood of His Son. Apostle Peter urges us to prepare our minds for action (1 Peter 1:13).
If we take the time to study the Word and educate ourselves on all that is rightfully ours in Christ Jesus, we will find ourselves completely empowered and equipped to stand up to the devil and his bullying tactics, every time. It's time to take responsibility for our lives as we stand in all Jesus has won for us and deliberately push back against the devil's lies and deceit. We are called to fight the good fight of faith, passivity has never been an option for us. Always remember who you are in Christ Jesus and take charge of your life, choosing to constantly, and willingly surrender to His will. As a child of God, shake off the attitude of passivity, prepare your mind for action and live like a soldier who is confident in knowing the battle has already been won.
