Every time I pop in the Singles I check for new threads but there aren't many new ones these days, so I started one. I don't know what it's about so if anyone has anything they'd like to say..... then say it .

Have you read any new books lately ? Seen any movies ? Heard any new songs you liked a lot ?

Have you tried any new places to eat that you liked?

Well, I started reading Game of Thrones, but it is currently on hold cuz my MIL got a book at the library for me: Talking to the Dead. It’s a crime/mystery novel. I like it so far!

Whenever there is no topic, the topic defaults to chocolate.

Fair Trade chocolate can be pretty good. I can't get it here, but some Fair Trade stuff is flat-out awesome!

Although that "Endangered Species" chocolate that has pictures of animals on the wrappers, that isn't very good. Even Lindt is better than that. Moser Roth beats Endangered Species chocolate by a good seven miles.

A friend of mine was talking about some milk chocolate that is 43% cocoa. I have never heard of such, a milk chocolate bar with an appreciable percentage of cocoa in it. I would someday like to try that.

Why does everything have to be new?

Old threads are more cozy...
like an old pair of woolen underwear with a few haphazard patches because your old dog binky would pull them out of the hamper and chew on them.

That's exactly how I think of the old threads on cc...
they're like an old pair of woolen underwear that your dog has chewed up.

Working on my family tree on Ancestry.com I just discovered I had a great,great,great,great,great,great uncle named John Snow. :p

Make a note somewhere and start it on over in November or December. No, people are stressing about Christmas money then... Try February or early March. If you get chocolate now it will be melted.

I mentioned i have a new violin. And I likes it a lot.

and the instrument corner in the apartment is getting too many instruments lol

Green And Black's is okay. Better than Lindt and Ghirardelli at least. Not as good as Moser Roth though, and a far cry from Lake Champlain Chocolates.

What brand/model? I've been thinking of an upgrade...mine's a pretty inexpensive one. (someone who no longer played just gave it to me). For right now I think I'm just going to upgrade the strings and hold tight, but we'll see.
