Yeah loneliness is a big one for me. THink its why we see millennials glued to their phones. Deleting all social media was a huge wake up call and I started to really hear from God without distraction. I truly started to see how broken people, myself included are. BELIEVING now I'm not alone hes with me wherever I go is so comforting and satan works on us early in life n I'm convinced he wants to take this world to hell with him. Were all in this together.

Sex addiction is rampant in the US because the society is emasculating men with political correctness and feminism and attacking them with false accusations about sexual misconduct which is usually just normal male behavior.

Its unreal. was at a starbucks awhile back just to use wifi and all the guys in there were feminine. Was so disgusting, was wondering how do they get this way? No parenting at all, could they change oil, or provide for a family? Feeling less and less a part of this world

Find a purpose. Find a woman. Find a couple good hobbies.

Sinful sexual practices often trace back to inactivity and a lack of fulfillment. In this era anyhow.
But as a Christian woman I would really only want to be with a guy who has definitely overcome this problem. I suspect there are underlying things that need healing that only God knows about and understands. I know that to be true in my own life. True repentance of sin is powerful and Jesus told us to daily take up our cross. The truth sets us free. Jesus is the truth. He will help if we ask. Also though when the day of evil comes we must stand, I'm not saying wenever stumble but we mustn't be ignorant of the enemies devices, we must walk in the Spirit then we will not fulfil the lusts of the flesh. This is a narrow way we are in, it's difficult but we cannot compromise with sin. We can do all things through Him that strengthens us. He is faithful. He is holy.
With love in Christ.

So what was the reason for sex addiction before all that then?
Trust me guys there are plenty of Christian women out there looking for real men, despite what the world in it's blindness is doing. Don't be deceived.

What scriptures or therapy has worked for you guy to overcome this addiction. Porn, chatrooms etc? Thanks!!
Truly speaking, many guys have complained about their struggles to overcome Sex addiction, pornography or chatrooms. I have had the privilege to help some good people who are caught up in the addiction problem. The advice I gave them that helped are the following. First, understand that sex addiction or obsession is a problem that is rooted in inner struggle or faulty mindset and until the mind is renewed it may lead to misbehavior cycle —And its’ difficult to get out of its web. Scriptures are not magic wands, but work if properly applied through knowledge and understanding. Let me begin from Paul’s admonition in Romans 13:11-14 (J.B. Phillips New Testament), “Why all this stress on behavior? Because, as I think you have realized, the present time is of the highest importance—it is time to wake up to reality. Every day brings God’s salvation nearer. The night is nearly over, the day has almost dawned. Let us therefore fling away the things that men do in the dark, let us arm ourselves for the fight of the day! Let us live cleanly, as in the daylight, not in the “delights” of getting drunk or playing with sex, nor yet in quarrelling or jealousies. Let us be Christ’s men from head to foot and give no chances to the flesh to have its fling.” In addition, the following scriptures will help to renew your mind:
Romans 12:1-2, I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.[SUP]2 [/SUP]And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
Isaiah 26:3-4, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.[SUP]4 [/SUP]Trust ye in the Lord forever: for in the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength:”
Colossians 3:1-3, “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.[SUP]2 [/SUP]Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.[SUP]3 [/SUP]For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”
Psalm 2:1-4, “Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?[SUP]2 [/SUP]The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against his anointed, saying,[SUP]3 [/SUP]Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.[SUP]4 [/SUP]He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.”
Galatians 2:20-21, “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless, I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.[SUP]21 [/SUP]I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.”
2 Corinthians 10:3-6, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:[SUP]4 [/SUP](For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)[SUP]5 [/SUP]Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;[SUP]6 [/SUP]And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.”

This man's book, Eyes of Honor, is about as helpful and Spiritual an answer that I have ever come across. Here is a short video that summarizes it. Hope it helps:[video=youtube;HCNBCm0egWo]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCNBCm0egWo[/video]

Just FYI:
This gentleman goes by Dr. Jonathan Welton, and posts info on his ministry doctorate EVERYWHERE... and.... that doctoral degree is from a religious institution that is unaccredited and suspected of being a diploma mill. So, it's a bogus doctorate.

This doesn't mean this video is necessarily bad; I have no idea, I haven't watched it. This video may be perfectly good. Some of his other teaching may be perfectly good. I have no idea.

I just feel suspicious of guys promoting themselves with bogus doctorates.

Just letting you guys know.

I'm posting this for general information.
Let's not turn this into a fight, I'm not out to get anyone.
And the "university" his degree is from, admits, on their own website, that their degrees are unaccredited.
So, this is just general info... let's not fuss about it.
And no need to derail this thread if this thread is helping people.
