Hello everyone!

Just wanted to tell you all how surprised I was to see a thread with my name on it... Perhaps I need to be more careful about what I write. :) Thank you all for the prayers and thoughts. Life has been a bit crazy lately, such as:

Do the rest of you have weeks like this? I'm sure you do. For example, you go to Doctor A for Problem 1 and he says, "By the way, we're concerned about a Second Problem and for that, you need to go to Doctor B and Specialist Exorbitant Price."

You then make an appointment with Furnace Repair Guy X who says, "By the way, you're also going to need Roofer Y and Plumber Z."

And finally, you take your car in for Concern Number 1 and they say, "By the way, Concern Number 1 is not the problem at all... you need to have Concerns Numbers 2-5 fixed..."

And at end of it all, the bills come to about XXXX and you open your wallet and find that you have x. (Notice, SMALL x.) How many of you out there buy a box of cereal on sale for $3 and have that as lunch for a week? I have to give special kudos to all of you out there with kids, because I have enough trouble looking after myself.

After reading Jullianna's laugh-out-loud funny thread, I must address a few concerns:

1. I am not independently wealthy. Sorry, Nuke and Zero--NO PORCHES FOR YOU!!!! (I also happen to... gasp... find Porches to be rather ugly... I'm more of a 1980's Camaro girl myself.)

2. Nuke, thanks for keeping my big secrets. Not that I have any... and if anyone wanted to know, all they'd have to do is ask, and I'd tell them anyway... but... thank you SO much for keeping all my most secret of secrets!! :D

3. Thank you so much to the person who took the time to email me here, the person who emailed me outside of CC, and the person who took time out of their day to send me a text. You all don't know how much you've lifted my spirits!

4. MOST OF ALL, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE LOVE AND PRAYERS.

God bless and much love,

Seoul :D

Specialist Exorbitant Price? He was my allergy doctor when I was a teen...he had a Ferrari.

I'm glad that you're still doing okay, and that your spirits are up...but...well, I don't know what to think. In fact, I can honestly say that I'm flabbergasted. Overwhelmed. Shocked, even. I had no idea that you were anywhere near redneck enough to like 80's Camaros...

Which was also probably the same doctor as my ENT specialist. He had daughters named buffy muffy and tuffy.

LOL!! Not specifically from 1980 but... I think... maybe 1985? And also Trans-Ams and Firebirds...

But you know I'm not a car girl at all... I just see one every now and then and think, "Oh, pretty!!"

It's my own inner airhead :D. Sometimes, unfortunately, she's not as far below the surface as I would like to think.

I'm sorry everyone, as yet another example of my incredible ability to skip right over my own typos, I realize that in my original post, I just wrote that Nuke and Zero simply cannot have any "porches."

*sighs*

Fine!!! No porches OR Porsches for either of them! (I couldn't afford either one anyway. :D)

Sounds just like my mom.

"Aaron, I saw the prettiest car today, what was it?"
"Dunno, Mom, what did it look like?"
"It was red."
"....annnnd? Two or four doors? Hatchback? Convertible? Truck? Space Shuttle?"
"Well, it was shiny..."
"Oh, well, then, that red shiny car. Yeah. I like those..."

So, you're more into this style of Camaro...and owner?

Don't feel bad, I've got a thing for El Caminos.

That's right, Nuke... NO POOCHES for you (unless they're freebies) because right now I couldn't afford one of those either! :D

Well, not to be pedantic, but I think the Porsche capital is Stuttgart.

Besides, let Seoul like her redneck-mobiles...more Porsches for the rest of us.

Stuttgart might have more porsches but out here porsche is not just a car, its a lifestyle!

(unfortunately, so is the camaro!) Since I moved to cali in the early 1990's I think I've seen a total of two camaros.

As luck would have it, this one just showed up at the shop today...
