I haven't read through all of the responses, so I apologize if this is repetitive.

First of all, I went to a Bible college as well, and I know exactly what you mean - everyone was hooking up and getting married, most of them before their junior or senior year. So yes, I know what you are going through with that...

Second, I'm three years out of my undergraduate degree (one year out of my master's degree). While I was growing up, I always just assumed I'd meet my husband in college and get married. That's what happened for my parents and I just accepted it as 'the norm'. However, I'm now SO glad that I haven't gotten married yet. I've had time to really get to know myself and be my own person. You should view singleness as a time to refine yourself and become whoever it is you're supposed to be. It's your time to grow personaly, spiritually, mentally, emotionally...

Easier said than done, I know. And yes, I'm still single. But that's just because I'm picky ;)

You have your whole life to be married. This is your time to be you! :)

listen hon mi single with two kids of my own and im doing fine. im currently atteinding bible classes, christian coulnseling and going to church. dont be in a rush to get married just cause everyone else is. god already has a plan for u. take this time to know urself, take tis time to know god better. enjoy being single cause nce u do decide you will know. take care and be blessed.

Sorry, I'm just getting myself and the kids ready for church, so I don't have time to give your post the full response it deserves.

Could I just remind you of what Paul says on being single though? While you are single, you are much less distracted and thus more able to serve the Lord. There are many wonderful, beautiful women in service to the Lord who remain single... often feeling guilt or remorse at times, but they have chosen to place the Lord our God first in their lives, and they wait upon God to provide for all the things He knows they need.

Use your time now to dedicate your life to the Lord. He will provide all things.
