I'm really looking hard to find a good Christian woman who will be pleasing to the Lord and me :) I'm kind of looking for the blue berry muffin, I've dated many bland muffins (the majority of which have been non-Christians) and ever since I've renewed my relationship with Christ, it has been very important for me to find a Christian woman!! Taking applications! :)

This is a Christian Singles forum,however it's not a dating site. That has been stated on many other threads in this forum before...yes even by the mods.(Just saying)It's great you know what you want and all,but many take offense easily. The whole ''taking applications'' part is a bit over the top to many...in this case I agree. I mean you shouldn't look at women,nor should women look at men in such a way. The outer appearance of a person while important to an extent,shouldn't be the main focus. We as Christians need to look at the inside. often times in life,when you least expect it,you'll find the right person for you.

For example,I had met someone and we were both simply looking for a friend. Decided to go on a friendly date,not meant as an actual date.Little did we know,that would turn out to be the beginning of something far more. Come to find out we're soul mates. We looked inside each other,not solely or even primarily at the outside of one another.

Look at what you have in common,the character,their heart,etc. Look at what really matters. Most of all let the Lord lead you :)

Don't take offense to what others have said,their opinion is welcome when you post a thread.

I would strongly advise for you to stop your search on the internet. This is not a critique of the many wonderful women on this site. It is a critique of your approach to pursue the woman God created for you. Seek a relationship with a women God puts in your real life not your cyber life.

If I want to post something like that, I will. Don't try to teach me what to do or act like your God by thinking you better than me because your not. In no way, shape or form did I say anything about looking on the outside when I mentioned "taking applications" That could be a personality check. Maybe you should worry about your own relationship, I wasn't trying to offend anyone.

Well that may be the case for some, but I know several Christian couples who met online.

I know that I should probably whistle as I look the other way, but I guess I’m looking to get a bunch of mean replies (actually, I’m not so excuse my lame sarcasm). I understand that this isn’t a singles club or even a dating website…I understand some people get tired of seeing people make posts similar to BrianB….BUT PLEASE BE PATIENT… he is not the only person to make a post like this and he won’t be the last...This doesn’t mean we can’t respond in love, we don’t know everyone’s circumstance and I know that none of us truly wants to hurt anyone’s feelings.
I’ve seen other comments made to similar posts and to tell you the truth I was looking to see what funny stuff people would post (shame on me) but for whatever reason I think this turned a little ugly.
The fact is that loneliness is hard and it is nice to know as Christians we have a loving family that can support us when we feel disconnected whether we are single, unemployed, sick or have another problem…on CC it isn’t cool to post that you are looking for a date, but we are still dealing with people’s feelings and we should respond with a little love so BrianB here’s my digits… Just Joking and slightly inappropriate, but honestly you sound like a nice guy and I’m sure you will meet someone, maybe she will be a friend off of CC either way don’t be discouraged!

Thimsrebma is right, but we should take the time to be a little more gentle with new people who are amazed by this wonderful resource and may do something inappropriate.

Love, thanks for the Love =). I'm not lonely, I'm just being selective. I've been trying to talk to the right girls. Before, it was all about attraction. My facebook page is full of attractive girls I used to date, the thing is, I'm tired of playing the field. I want to honor God by meeting and marrying a Christian woman and being faithful. The only thing that matters anymore is what's on the inside. It says in the Bible not to marry an unbeliever so I'm in search of a believer now. I'm sorry to anyone I offended, I honestly didn't know. I've been trying to delete this thread ever since I wrote it but can't figure out how lol. Shalom yall

Goodness. It's a Christian Singles forum. There is a Singles room in the chat. It's basically setting up good single people to talk about relationships and meet each other. While I don't necessarily encourage online dating, I am not going to put God in a box and say it can't happen. Also, it's pretty obvious that the "taking applications" comment was a joke. Duh. And the whole blueberry thing... I'm not sure where you were headed with that but whatever. As long as you know I suppose.
People get so offended on here. It's the internet. Chill out.
