I have an aunt who once realy liked this guy at her high school. She wasn't sure if he was the one but she wanted the oppurtunity to go out with him, and so she prayed to God and said "God, if it's not of your will to be with this guy, atleast give me the chance so that I can see for myself". About a short week after, the guy was the one who asked her out. In the long run, he ended up not being the one, but she was happy to have that experience to find out for herself. If you ask me, I think you shuld say the same words to God. Don't worry about him living at the other side of the U.S, have faith that God can work that miracle and he'll take care of the rest.

Zander has some very sound advice - I think.

I, personally, am in a very happy long distance relationship (albeit a hard one due to that fact). It can work out, but it's very important not to rush things. Take your time, you have years ahead, or years innumerable in heaven. What's the point in rushing?

Love is very delicate. and the more heart breaks one gets the more of a philosopher one becomes.
Let your spirit lead you, then your head, and finally your emotions. If you get these priorities right there is a fair chance of not only falling in love but staying in love for a longer time. if you get them wrong, pain and heartbreak is guaranteed.
what is good for the goose, is also good for the gander.

thank you for the advice you guys! =]
we are both 19, and like i said right now we are just really good friends and are going to stay that way until we meet, if we meet. cuz if God allows us to meet in person maybe it is His will for us.
right now i dont really have any Godly friends or mentors, so I have been talking to God about it =]
but like i said before im not putting all my hopes into getting into a relationship with him. we are just best friends, and we will see what God does with us from there.

If your trying to quote socrates, your a little off... this is how it really goes... By all means if you get a good wife, you'll be happy, if you get a bad one, you'll become a philsopher. (sorry, love the guy.. i know tons of usless quotes by him and everyone else lol) My favorite saying about love and marriage is this one.. his name is Peter Devries... and he said The diffuculty with marriage is that we fall in love with a personality but must live with a character... My advice for you is to really get to know this guy... its only been six months, and you have never actually met him..... Love is a very strong word, and to me not to be thrown around lightly (not saying at all that you are) You need to find out all about him... beyond what you are seeing on the internet.. get to know his character... his flaws, before you even entertain the thought of marraige and him being the one.
