anyone have advice for me?

so.... I really like this one guy [Abby, shush! =P] I mean REALLY like him. the more i talk to him the more i fall for him. I have known him about 6 months, maybe even more and i have really tried not liking him. I have looked on my list of things a guy HAS to have and he has them all and them some. the problem is that he lives on the other side of the us. I really don't know what to do about it all! I mean i really love him and I've been praying about it and I'm kinda at a loss of what to do.
I haven't told him that i feel this deeply for him and I'm not really sure he likes me back this much, but i do know he likes me back.
I'm just kinda at a loss cuz he lives all the way on the other side of the country and I really feel that he might be the one! o_0

well i just sent him a message letting him know i really like him and that i have feelings for him and that i have prayed about it. i have not mentioned that i think he may possibly be the one.... I'll just find out if he really likes me first! lol!

Have you met him before in person?

If not how can you love someone you never met in person.

Just be careful it isn't infatuation.

In that case I personally would save saying things like "I really love him" for until after you meet and even then some.

there's another verse but I can't find it, anyways, just because we can't see the Lord, doesn't mean we don't love Him right? So we can't tell someone if they do or don't like/love someone, or if they are or aren't attracted to one another. They have both prayed about it, feel the same way, and everything else. It's up to God, and them, maybe they are meant for each other, if so, great. maybe they aren't, well that's alright too. We can't say yes or no on things....

Hannah, keep on rocking girl! keep your faith, and he too will keep his, I know, as I know both of you....best of luck, either if you stay friends for life, or more some day! God bless! *hugs*

That's a good point that we can love someone without seeing them because that's how our relationship with Jesus is. However there's a big difference between knowing the Lord and someone we've never met only online. Though we don't see the Lord we still should know and see Him by His Spirit present with us. I can't see that being the case with another person. In the case of online meetings there is always a danger of falling in love with the person you think or hope he is or a person who matches up to your "list", and not in love with the actual person themself. That can truly only be established once face to face contact is made and subsequent interactions with the person.

ok,my advice is:pray about it! as funny as that sounds,it works.all you know GOD has some one different and better in mind for you.and you havent even met this person,so how can you love them?all you know,the guy who you THINK you love is not all that great in person.it's no use to make a mountain out of an ant hill.especially if you've never seen a mountain. does that make sense?=D

lol dont think i haven't prayed about this, that was the first thing i did! and I always tell other ppl to pray, so i wuold be a hyporcite if i didnt lol! as far as i know, yes God could have someone else in mind for me, but also as far as i know this could be the guy God has for me. sure we have only talked online, but we are very open with one another and i know he is not a creep. I have also seen ppl in real life who know someone and get married and they are a diff person. it goes both ways. and dont think im one of those girls who just gets into a relationship to feel good. if i was like that i would have gone out with all the guys who asked me out online, which is like 25! lol and the thing is this guy will only ask me out in person.
me and the guy have both agreed that we will not 'go out' or anything of the sort until we meet each other in person. that is another dertamining factor. if God lets us meet in person or not.
I am not putting my hopes into this guy, cuz i know there may be the chance he isn't 'the one' but i also do not want to dissmiss my feelings and such just because i met him online, cuz there is a chance he could be 'the one' so I'm just gonna chill out and see if God allows us to meet in person. if not then while I'm waiting God will send the right guy. for now i just have a really awesome friend, and who knows, that might change in the future.
please dont think i havent thought about all aspects of this! lol cuz i have.
ha ha! and no Abby, I'm not just gonna pack up and move! like i said, im just gonna wait to see if things happen. and it is all in God's time.
