Hey all!
Ok so the title says 'help', why? Well because i could use some advice from you my brothers and sisters in Christ. So heres the dilema, I really really have a HUGE crush on one of my best guy mates, hes a christian as well as me, and I LOVE spending time with him, i smile with him etc you know the things you do as close friends, but i can't help but feel that i like him waay more that as a mate.
Anyway he is one of those guys that waits for the girl to make the first move, now i am really unsure as to how to go about this... should i ask him straight out? Think if a way to ask him? A way to find out if he too likes me back? Because he keeps giving me all these mixed signals.
I want to know what i should do about this as a christian, as well as a normal young girl just wanting to find love... any help/guidance?
I know that if he rejects me, we will still be mega close mates. But i dont want to wait around and wonder what ifs?!
Thanks so much guys!
God Bless!

well, if you know you'll remain friends if he doesn't like you the same way, i'd say go for it. Simply ask him if he's ever thought of you as more than a friend/mate. If you never ask you'll never know right?

I'm with Bec on this one. It might be a little awkward at first but you never know and will never know unless you just ask! =]

So why the complication? It's simple just ask him how he feels about you and if he is interested in dating you, that way you know for sure and then you both can decide if you want to pursue a more romantic relationship or stay friends

You were talking to people who left long ago. This thread is more than a decade old.

Crazy, huh? By now, the original OP has probably already married and divorced by now. Maybe more than once.

Really?? I had no idea, I found it earlier today near the top of the forum posts.
