Just thinking (which usually gets me in trouble) about what people are listening to. Try to keep your suggestions to Christian/positive stuff. Thanks.

Props to the newly cristened YouTube girl, AnandaHya for the inadvertent suggestion.

YouTube - Jesus Muzik Video - Lecrae ft. Trip Lee (Lecrae- Jesus Muzik)

YouTube - AMV - Galaxy Bounce - By Nostromo (Andy Hunter- Lifelight)

This probably isn't what most (or any) of you are into, but it's been my favorite since I first heard it. Yes, I'm a metalhead. You'll probably need the lyrics to play along at home, even though it's a bit mild. (grin)

YouTube - Before There Was Rosalyn - The Deliverer

We stand on the brink of the end. A familiar song coming from the horizon, the clouds part like the sea. This is the spark of eternity...eternity. I was born a slave. I’ve thirsted for You my whole life. You’ve changed not Thy ways. Changed not Thy cross. You’ve kept it firmly upon my shoulders that You might hear me...that You might hear me. I will hold this to the grave...to the grave...hold this to the grave...to the grave. Remove not Thy song that I might grow cold and turn from Thee. But hold me close, Oh Lord. A hundred thousand lifetimes have come and gone, and a hundred thousand lives would be given to stand where I stand. And the clouds of Heaven open and I hear... "How great is our God!" ...one familiar song... "How great is our God!" ...and I hear one familiar song. "How great is our God!" Hold me close, oh Lord. Leave me not... "How great is our God!" ...this last hour... "How great is our God!" ...this last hour. "How great is our God!" "How great is our God! How great is our God! How great is our God!".... Sing with me...

There isn't much that I don't like to listen to... Depends on the mood. :) (count me out on rap and the old whiney country stuff though)

When it comes to praise and worship music, I have to say that Jeremy Camp and Lincoln Brewster are the first artists that come to mind. I do a lot of their music at my church because I've listened to their reasons for what they write and I know their work is anointed.

I haven't heard of that born-again song but I do no one from my church and it goes like this: born again I'll because of Calvary born again just like Jesus said and then it says: I'm so glad that I've been born again. A girl at church I grew up in solo'd it oh so sweetly, I had a crush on her, I was 10 AND she was 8 years older than me. Christian radio ROKS ! Here its 105.3 FM, SPIRIT 105.3 FM - Seattle's Family-Friendly Radio Station . AS LONG AS....christian music does not become your god, then what a way to enjoy God's blessings iin my life. I like Rez band (mommy dont love daddy anymore ) and group Sierra and Katinas and Twila Paris (God is in control is a good one I yelled to at her concert and lets not forget adding a good rap group,DCTALK, HOPEthat helps you all get in the light of your minds eye to shout out some great songs, like Rich Mullins (sigh, i remember in my car jamming to some song by some christian artist when interruption came of his death, THAT floored me, cuz He was so AWESOME SINGING OF OUR AWESOME GOD and then too whispering out a touching ballad too, like...and salvation army is playing this hymn....please be my Prince Of Peace.

The same way I hear about all my good music...ask a teen. I used to know some teens that would hook me up with all the latest stuff...some I liked, some I didn't.

What I like most about them is that they seem to be unashamedly Christian. A lot of bands are 'positive' and downplay their beliefs...but Rosalyn seems to just lay it right out there.

FYI, most bands will still play for free pizza...

lol Eowyn didn't. One of her songs was on the top ten, and we got her to come to our lil ol town and play in our christian cafe. she cost quite a bit. but we gave her crew a home-cooked meal, authentic italian, at the pastor's house.

Before there was Rosalyn is one of those that liked to hang out with us, too. They're pretty chill. They'll come play for us for pizza anytime. Even if it is only pizza hut. lol I'm just siked that someone outside of the south has heard of them!!

Metal guys ALWAYS are the coolest and easy-going. I've worked all kinds of bands and gigs, and the metal guys are always the ones who are laid back. They lay it all out on stage, of course, so they're mellow off stage.

Unfortunately, I've also found the reverse is true. The adult contemporary/gospel artists have, more often than not, been the most difficult and whiny of the bunch.

Well, I heard of Rosalyn here in Michigan, but I lived just south of Nashville, so I've got a bit of the south in me. I'm also moving back there at Easter, so I'm pumped.

I always think I clean my ears well, but my uncle always manages to find a coin behind one of them.
