He's got to be able to cook, I like guys with "emo/scene" Hair, Nice body is preferable but not an overiding thing. Good kisser, fun, good taste in music, films etc... Gotta be a gamer. Has to be a little psychotic and have a messed up sense of humour. Hmm...looking at your poll so I can answer appropriately. haha

- Don't have a preferred hair color. Don't like comb-overs though. Embrace your baldness. Shave your head and get a tan. It can be hot, right, ladies?
- Sensitivity is fine as long as you aren't more of a girl than I am. J
- Randomness is awesome. Surprises keep the spark in a relationship.
- Seriousness. Sure, but not ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time. Ya gotta loosen up sometimes. A great sense of humor is a must.
- Protectiveness. Some of the guys in these threads have shown this toward the ladies and it's AWESOME. We don't NEED it most of the time, but that's not the point. Ignore what most ladies say, heroes make ladies smile.
- Loving and compassionate. It's an absolute and not in a mushy kinda way. In a strong, loving Jesus and people kinda way. Someone who is not afraid to show affection is important too.
- Muscular/non-muscular. I don't expect a guy to be totally ripped, but healthy is good. If I’m being complete honest, I’d have to say that I’m normally more attracted to guys who aren’t too thin.
- Eye color. Color doesn't matter, but a mischievous sparkle always rocks (Smile! It makes your eyes look nicer)
- Smart/dumb. Intelligence is often not as important as a willingness to learn/try new things. It’s good to have a lot of things to talk about because some of us are not good at small talk. Guys who like to talk a LOT might not like me. I’m a good listener, but I’m actually pretty quiet in person.
- Musical. Playing an instrument is GREAT, but an interest in music is good enough because music is a huge part of my life
- Height. No issue with heights, but some guys are not comfortable with taller women (I’m nearly 5.9 in heels).
- Work. What a guy does for a living isn't as important as his willingness to work and his having a good work ethic, but it seems like guys who have less stressful jobs don't really seem to understand a lot of the pressures/deadlines that women who do are under. I do try to make it clear up front that the pressures of my job can put quite a strain on relationships. It’s been an issue more than once….
- Confidence. THIS is one of the most attractive things about a guy, no matter what he looks like. Guys with low self-esteem tend to lean on women rather than taking the lead in a relationship and that's not very appealing.
- Faith. No relationships with unbelievers or with someone who is not interested in growing in God even if they are a Christian.
- Technolover – Not a problem. I’m a bit of techno geek myself, but I’m not a gamer.
- Food lover. I LOVE to cook and I like guys who like to cook.

P.S. - I noticed you said this was for the younger crowd, but I don't think it's likely that many 13 y/o girls are gonna answer and what the other ladies have to say might be helpful in the long run.

um, I am sooooooo picky when it comes to guys-which might make me doomed to singleness for the rest of my life, unless by a miracle of God He gives me the desire of my heart-God and me knows what (or who) that is. Anyways. Heres my list. Please everyone pray for me that God gives me these things.
1. Christian (someone in ministry, like a preacher, prophet, evangelist)
2. someone masculine (someone kind of muscular, not short, not to skinny). I want a man who works with his hands for a living
3. country boy (with an accent)
4. blonde or light brown
5. sensitive
6. willing to work through problems
7. soft hearted
8. generous (would give the shirt off his back for someone)
10. good conversationalist
11. very knowledgable about the bible (can challenge me in areas of my life and my knowledge of the word)

lol. good question.Right now the guy I like fits all of that, and he's white. But it would literally take the miracle working hand of God for him to want to be in a relationship with me-though I have faith that unexpected things will happen Lord willing. But if I don't get him, than...let me think here. hmmm.......I dont think blonde hair looks good on black guys...honestly, but hay if i meet a black guy who can pull it off i would be truly impressed. If he fits all the description, I might consider it, though I'm not biologicaly attracted to black guys. i knew a pastor who said that he would never get remarried, and he would never marry a black woman. Not to long after he remarried a black woman from brazil (sweet lady to).

Let me just say i love a lot of this list because you are looking for a man that has a strong faith because God is the most important thing in life. However, sometimes i feel like girls are a little selfish and want things that are not important. Does God want you to have a guy that is blonde? does that really matter? I think its good to be open-minded to what God wants for us, and forget about the little details like eye and hair color. Also, isnt the thing that really matters on the inside? Stop putting guys on a pedestal that is impossible for them to mount, because they will never do it. Love a man for who is and see him as perfect no matter what. God sees us that way despiste our flaws. We all have flaws and as hard as it is to believe, so do girls. You would never see a list like this one about what a guy is looking for in a girl, but if you did it would be full of the same types of superficial things: body type, hair and eye color, personality, background. My advise is to throw out your list and find the guy or girl that God wants you to be with. Follow God's plan.
