when a guy asks me out..... and I lke the guy i would tell him to contact my parents... even when I am not in my home country I would give him my parents' email address......... if I don't like him, a straight and appropriate no would be good.....
so in essence, a prospective boyfriend would have to meet my parents before we can have a relationship.... :-)

That is what's happening as of now. His mom met me when she picked him up from work one day, and yesterday at his house before we went to meet a ton of friends for dinner and a movie. My mom will meet him that Sunday morning. And a girlfriend of ours is coming, which will help to relax the atmosphere. Things are looking up

His uncle made it a little awkward yesterday.. but no one else is pushing anything.
