Tips for newcomers

Since we have a lot of new people, I thought it would be fun to leave them some tips. haha

1. Don't bother Hommer's tractors or sit on his pew.
2. Bring plenty of chocolate with you. Food of any kind really.
3. If you're an old guy, leave seoulsearch ALONE!
4. If you're human, leave Nod ALONE! She doesn't like people, but she tolerates us pretty well most days.
5. Don't touch the sound system. Nuke's in charge of that when he's not sorting his M&Ms.
6. If your car breaks down, Liamson and Nuke are here for you. They're also in charge of laundry...and..ummm...certain printing services.
7. If you need help with spelling, remembering someone's name or punctuation, GreenNNice is your man...*cough cough*
8. If you need a kind word, talk to Grace. The rest of us do the best we can.
9. If you're bored, check with Ms Amber. She's always the life of the party.
10. Don't make Liamson eat off of white plates. He bites. But if he hands you a glass slipper, try it on.
11. Did I mention that you should bring food???
12. If you're normal, sit close to Matthew. He's the closest we have to that. *twitch twitch*
13. Don't cross Stilly. He'll nuke ya and turn you into a doggie chew toy.
14. Don't mess with my guns.
15. Don't mess with Nuke and Liamson's tools.
16. No PDAs in front of Rissa. We love and respect her.
17. If you like unpredictability, talk with InkedFaith. We never quite know what to expect from him. And that's a good thing.
18. If you see nanabean or princessbella. Give them a hug. You'll never regret it.
19. If you need loving, sage advice, check with Zero. He's the best we've got. But if a jet flies by, he'll be temporarily afk.
20. Don't be shy. Jump right in! We don't bite...hard. And we all love Jesus!!!!

P.S. - Did I mention that you should bring food????

You made a MAJOR typo on #6. MAJOR!!! It should read that Nukepooch and Liamson will offer to do your laundry.....DO NOT listen to them! The only two to do laundry are Grace and Jullianna.

Aw, crud, Jullianna... I love you to bits but now that you've WARNED everyone about me... I can't sneak up on anyone. What fun is that?! The element of surprise is half of what determines my success rate!!!

And, to clarify, "old" to me means men 50-85 years old trying to talk to me because they think they're going to get a younger, naive, barely-speaks English domestic servant/arm candy/caretaker/nanny for their grandkids. (I joke not--this happens to me on a regular basis, as regular posters here know all too well--and, I'm not afraid to write threads about it--maybe that's why my "geriatric magnet" rating has gone down a bit here at CC... they know I'll just write a thread about... If only it would transfer over to all the other areas of my life!)

I can vouch for the "naive" part but I DO speak English at least passably well (don't make me unleash a few of my favorite phrases) and am hoping to one day actually attract men around my own age!!!

I AM fairly domestic... BUT, I am SO looking forward to dropping off my laundry with you and Grace (I'll switch over every other week to make sure it always gets done.)

One thing y'all can tell about our Julli, she NEVER misses a beat about ANYONE, so feel free to be your own amazing self under her watchful eye.

Rule #23
For you freaks who love the bible study section only to rant and rave about the most stupidest topics without reading your bible and love to pull out a verse or two out of context - Meridoc will come out with his proverbial stick and beat you with it, and will later tell ME about it. Trust me, I have a mental list of all the crazys.
He rebukes lovingly (trust me hes the most gentle person I know), but he loves the Word of God and will protect its authority and accuracy for anything. He reads everyones comments carefully then goes out of his way to get numerous books, sermons on the topic (all different viewpoints) and discussing it with others before coming to a conclusion himself. So theres really no point in editing your stupid posts to get around his awesome and fair research because he does notice (and tells me) so just don't bother and in humility admit defeat lol.

So, if you piss him off, you will piss me off lol.
