Not sure where a thread like this will go, but please keep it nice and traveling (unraveling?) in a good Godly way.

-- Ok, I will start, and, when someone new comments then they are FAIR GAME to then tell what their nickname means to you. So, remember, these things I , and, I pray you say, are taken personally in a building-up-your-spirit way to glory becoming for who else but He who madeth we. Yes, our God !

----Ok, first off , zere, who I personally nicked that way is on c.c. named 'zeroturbulence.' Hmmm, that's potentially a easy one (zere, let us know, bro), zere's nic means , I am your friend on here and what you say won't rub me (create friction) the wrong way.

--Second, a gi rl, Redmama, now, to me, this is a fun remembrance, I remember in the movie, The Pacifier,' where Vin Diesel (yeah, guys, that shoot'em up action dude in movies like 'XXX,' actually did a comedy) was talking to the kids he was babysitting about a plan. He had names for all the other kids in their roles , like , hmm, can't remember what Diesel named them all, but was for a operative to do something like clean up the house they made a major mess of. Anyway, Diesel named the baby, 'Red Baby.'
Funny, funny movie, good, clean fun.

--ok, I say this next one of julianna, I've seen movies with movie actress , Julianna Moore, in them and Juliana is red-haired and she, I thinks, posted her picture on here a time or two, has long hair, like Moore.
Moore is a beautiful lady who can sure act. I've never seen Julieannie (my nic for her), but she sure can get good threads going on here and is a consummate conversationalist.

---ok, I will d o some more nic namings later. You d-o have fun with this nic stuff y'all :)

First of all I wanna thank you GreenNice for starting this thread! Cuz I am kinda very attentive at the new CC comers nicknames ... Every time the CCbot asks us to welcome a new member first thing I notice is their nick...well I believe everyone notices that, but I try to understand why they put precisely that nick and well most of the times I ask them trying to guess their meaning.. :p K, these below are not new members, but are the ones I can think of at the moment..

Nomnomnom reminds me I should get some food..lol

NarrowRoadDeisciple --- sometimes they call him just NRD for short, and when they do so, every time I read it my mind goes like "NERD?!? " lol

NodMyHeadLikeYeah --- Every time I read it I shake my head in a hip hop kinda music... :D

I will have other nicks later on.. :D

My first impressions:

zeroturbulence - his interest in flying and his quiet, peaceful spirit

seoulsearch - her roots; the examination of her inner self; her quest for so many things in life

Nodmyheadlikeyeah - always one of my favorites. Reminds me of these:

YouTube - ‪Will Smith - Black Suits Comin' (Nod Ya Head) ft. TRÂ-Knox‬‏
YouTube - ‪Men in black dance‬‏ (the only dance I could ever get my son to do with me after he was pottytrained :) )

Nukepooch - visions of a Chernobyl X man; leashed energy

GreenNNice - Green as in newbie? eco friendly? Don't quite get it...but I'm understanding you a little more these days :)

Nanabean - love this one..it's...homey

Ugly - totally love this one. The avatar is cool. :) I used one called ReallyUglyGoAway years ago. Apparently some guys are into that....

Liamson - Warms the heart of every celtic woman on the planet

1still_waters - Psalms 23 and this song: YouTube - ‪Bee Gees (13/32) - Still waters‬‏

htimsrebma - reminds me of the jewel that she is

Hommer - simplicity at its best

SubCruceSalus - depth

I'm going to do a few nic namings now, and, I really laughed at what some of you said for what people's nic's meant and said 'Yes,' that makes serious sense to others you explained what you THINK they meant. Remember, I should say , I don't think we should explain our nicknames just yet....let's wait until others have had a chance to have fun and waiting will heighten suspense too, because... I am sure it will be fun to find out WHY someone nicknamed himself as they did, the REAL (and maybe deep) reason why someone calls themselves 'Ugly' is because they were called 'ugly ducking' growing up and they turned out quite pretty :) just saying.

Carry on....
Oh, almost forgot , I wanted to add in a couple more nics, for the time being.

Forlorn-hope - hmm, its almost crucifying and since we are to.suffer as Christ, I like it a lot.

Vinafera - poetic as a glass of vini on such a cold winter's day.

El - thx, I am glad God gave me this idea , but, no, that's not what your nic means to.me ;)
El is a 'train' in French or Spanish, I only know this cuz I occasionally do crossword puzzles. Also, the letter 'L' is spelled 'el'. So, could your real first name start with an 'L' ? But, more than that, El goes with Shaddai. And, so, there is a biblical sense to your nic I like as well.

--ok, time for this puppy to get some shut-eye, God bless, night all, and, good morning to those in places like Brit just serving yourself tea and crumpets :)

Vinifera :) - Reminds me of John 5:15 - "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."

'Littlelamb1' reminds me of a picture in which Jesus is carrying a little lamb.

It also reminds me of Mary's little lamb. "Mary had a little lamb.....little lamb..... little lamb................... (it keeps reverberating in my mind)

Littlelamb1 - in bible, it says we are 'His' (God's) sheep. Sheep are dumb, my pastor has given messages on sheep, saying these slow-Moving, wooly animals are helpless and very vulnerable to death if without a shepherd, and, that's for more reason than just a wolf getting them . Yes, I like this nic, and, yes, We ALL are His sheep, true TRUTH of all believers in Christ.

Tif - short for Tiffany . Name Rings back memory of girl I ran track with older than myself in fifth grade on our track team, everyone called her 'Tif'

Nukepooch - Must not love dogs . LOL. Seriously, I struggle with this nic's true meaning and agree with julieannie that nuked, as I call this charismatic, riddle-solving , insightful foruming 'sound' guy, is leashed energy, funny about x-men too. But gotta try, so....I will say: someone who make you think .
as #nukepooch' does that for me with his loss too, and ilso good 'thinking' nic ny nuked and I get nowhere thinking of its true meaning.

Nodmyheadlikeyeah - hmm, got to go literal with this one , and, Nods, as I called her, is like this, I think sarcastically funny or truthfully funny, so... that nic lean on sarcasm but literal she could be agreeing with you too . Either she is saying 'yeah,' and really agreeing with you or 'yeah (right)' and not agreeing .

---Again, with your nicing of people, this really has nothing to do so much with knowing the person's nuances on forums and maybe in chatrooms, and saying how you interpret them as define with use of their nickname for support. No, no, no.

Simply, the thread is...what you think people's nic's mean on c.c. I know it happen, pray the Lord leas you to JUST define a c.c. member's nic at face vale, so to speak. :)

Let's let people have funny with this nic guessing forma week or so and then let the person with the nickname explain their nic's true meaning.

God bless, joy to your world , have a great Godly day. :)

Jullianna - Lady Juliana

GreenNnice - Uhm... Sorry, but I used to be a stoner. (Sorry man.) -_-'
NodMyHeadLikeYeah - Rock'n'Roll. 50's style. xD
Zerotubulence - Kinda wishing all flights were like that.
El - The letter "L" (Lame I know. But that letter pops in my head when I read those two letters.)
Liamson - Liam Neeson... Comes close, namewise.
Hommer - Homer Simpson... >_> (Sorry yet again)
Seoulsearch - For some reason a dhalia comes to mind every time I see this name.

Guess that'll be it for now.

Good, koop, and, my turn again, and, again, stay túned please because NEXT WEEK i will make another thread, asking people to explain the meaning of their nicknames on c.c.
---
Ok, and, thx all for joining in, I hope and pray just maybe in a PM or in the chatroom what you say here could be fodder for a meaningful relationship (romántic or otherwise) there. One quick thing on that: ALWAYS make God the center of your attention, and, that goes...for any relationship .

-----Seoulsearch - hmmm, I think its about maybe her inner serch for herself and telling others to search the same of their 'soul.' way. And, she's got a Seoul country flag ( south korea) so its. a nic that's an inventive play of on words.

------thimsrebma -- this one lady here's nic I already know true meaning of because someone else toldo me. Clever.
Hmmm,
I don't know if I should do mods' nics too but I think someone maybe have done Still's already, so, , OK, they should be invitéd in on the fun too if they dare. :)

--- 1__still__waters --- layed back and meditative and wise. And, like someone else said I think, Psalms 23.

-----snowangel --- loves the snow.

And, koop, I'll end this round of nic guessings with yours. Your last name is 'kooper,' or you just like someone with that name in a movie or somewhere and nicked yourself after them.

Aha. Well, kinda. I just used a couple letters from my second name and fused it with my last name (excluding a few letters). and yeah, I manipulated my name to sound like John 'Cooper' from Skillet. :p I love that band.

--- In a short time, Catty, your wish will come true, I am going to do a thread NEXT WEEK like you want...I will be asking people to define their nicknames on c.c.), this is the Part 1 mystery side of this 2-part series. LOL. :)

Ok, a few more.

Liamsson - I always personally nick people immediately, playing off their nickname, and, thus young lad I had a hard time understanding for the longest time. I called him, 'llamason' and, other nic's and just ended up going with 'liam' and left it at that. I know no one named liam except that great liam neeson actor in taut thriller 2009 movie, 'Taken.' (Different subject, but see 'Shuttle' IF you really liked plot concept in Taken). And, liam's great guy so liam means his mom and dad named him right IF that's he REAL name. We will know shortly won't we ;)

---grace - I think of mercy , which is not getting punishment from God we deserve, and, then, grace, getting something good from God , we don't deserve. With grace's keen world insights and fun fresh take of the good things of life, we are all blessed with 'grace'. :)

Megatron---I am a little familiar with the Legos generation, having a young nephew 5th grader, but that name seems more Transformer. I know the name Optimus Prime (Poor ole big feller got his bolts bust up in Transformers 2) and so I think Megatron is one of the good robots in that movie. Good nick, tells me you like Tron type computer animation flicks. I may be right or wrong, guess we'll die of suspense no longer next week, eh, megabot ;)
