How do I become good and close friends with girls.

I have no really good close friends that are girls. I have very bad social skill, and bad with making friends in gerenral, but I how do I make good close friends with girls. Seriously, I've gotten more hugs from guys in a week then I've gotten from girls all year. Anyone have any suggestions. Hopefully making friends with girls will make it easier to wait for a girlfriend.

Some prayer would also be good too. Since prayer is always a good thing. ^_^

The bible says to love young women in a pure way as sisters. Also " love your neighbor as yourself". Once you do that, people will naturally gravitate towards you. I emphasize this: LOVE PURELY AND YOU WILL BE LOVED. i have lots of sisters in Christ because i am a brother to them. I lend my ears, i ask them about whats going on in their lives and i have empathy for their woes and offer brotherly advice. Loving others as sisters, i think, prepares you for a relationship.

I used to have a hard time making friends with guys but as i went to more social events i got better and made some pretty good guy friends.

Hey, I just want to affirm what Kakashi wrote...I agree!
With the opposite sex I view them all as my brothers...do you have siblings? I find the easiest way to make friends is to take interest who they are...male OR female...people are good at talking about themselves so ask questions (but not so it becomes the spanish inquisition! LOL). Above all, as has been said, RELAX and be YOURSELF.....keep seeking to become more and more a man after GOD first and foremost as that can be the most attractive quality in anyone!

Most guys like doing whether it's sports, video games or some kind of action oriented activity. Girls enjoy conversation. If you can have a conversation with a girl and demonstrate that you understand and hear what she is saying she will most likely respect you and possibly be your friend.

I totally agree. Being a good conversationalist will get you far. Being really attractive gets you girlfriends, but being good at conversation gets you girls who are just friends. (not that that's what lukechick was trying to say)
