well it wasnt a date
but a guyi was dating sent me a bouquet of flowers with chocolates mixed in on fake stems, it is still one of the most romantic things a guy has ever done
and what was really sweet was that he did it FREQUENTLY and always unexpected, its like he knew i needed it and the vases would be soooo beautiful and flowers/treats arranged nice, my coworkers thought it was kind of corny, but i loved it!

Everything went well. Good dinner with her family. She baked cookies. It was all delicious and fun, as we played a few games.

Ended with a long snuggle and movie in the living room. It's one of my many fond memories.

...in the past though. Sad at times. Anyway... ^_^

I don't have my amazing boyfriend any more, we're just friends now. He's still the sweetest person I've ever met. But I'm not really going to talk about him right now....
I finally got my first real date with my daddy. We talked about EVERYTHING. How I felt after my break up, my dreams, my fears, my interests. Everything.
Then, Daddy reached into his pocket and pulled out the most beautiful purity ring I've ever seen, he put it on my finger, and told me he loves me.
I mentioned that it was the most beautiful ring I've ever seen, but at the time, I couldn't see it, I was crying so hard.
An elderly couple stopped us while we were leaving and I let them admire the ring... (and me strangly enough). They told me that my Daddy was special, because most dads don't stick around anymore, let alone love them like my dad loves me.
I already knew that my dad was special though.... Why else would I still call him "Daddy"?
Some of my friends think it's wierd, I think they're jealous. :P

A guy once thought that anywhere we went together was a date, since we were dating. So he counted a "date at Costco".

The sweetest things didn't happen on the actual dates though, it's odd. It was more in our downtime, when we were being real with each other, in private. Although he said a lot of sweet little things on dates.

You are 100% right.. many people searching for happiness in their life but they couldn't. I think this is the finest answer for them.
