How high-The Story version

I decided to steal GreenNnice's's idea and give it a little twist. (Yes, my dear Mr. Green, I did steal your idea. I'm not sorry either.)

Here's the concept, Tell a story, using numbers that go in sequential order. First person posts something with the number one. Second person adds to the story with the number two, and so on.Let's see how ridiculous we can make the story, using numbers. And if you post in the other thread, please don't forget to keep posting there too.

And so, the saga begins.

One day, in a land far far away ....

Two people in love set out on a journey...

That they expected to be a 3 hour tour. (figures the ladies would try to turn it into a love story right outta the gate)

Yes, a three-hour tour. Thought it would be a three-hour tour. But, alas, they were four hours journeying and it was clear they were, like that ABC show, LOST.

Four hours later they found themselves stranded on a deserted island with an elderly couple, their cat, a magician and a professional yodeler. The captain of the vessel was lost at sea when a sail broke loose.

so, they started to shout to the elder couple and the magician but they didnt hear them, but suddenly, they saw a tunnel inside that hole.....

Six minutes later, the magician appeared.

the hole the five fell into was very deep, like seven yards deep, and, there was no climbing up its muddy sides. The tunnel was there though, so, they all started heading through it's dark musty cavernous blackness.

Eight large furry legs came into view and they realized they had landed on a giant spider's web.

Ok, so it looks our people are in trouble? So since they are all christians (except the magician wanna-be), they start to do what comes natural in sticky times like this....PRAY

Nine lives had the cat, so it jumped at the spider and startled it, giving the others enough time to scurry down another tunnel, with the cat following close behind.

It was a good thing they all could count or it would be ten years before they got to the end of the journey

11 mins later, it began to get cloudy. There will be a storm

at 12:00, the rain began to come down in torrents and the streams began to flood

The yodeler began yodling. The cat began meowing, the wanna-be magician fruitlessly yelled hocus pocus, the lovebirds kissed, and, the elderly couple, the only ones that didn't fall in the hole, danced waltzily
