I'll have to see that one, AsIf, but, c'mon now, don't tell me there can be a more loyal follower than Hooch. Such a pooch, that Hooch. Loved that flick , as I already said in an earlier post, but will try to find that Hachi flick but I can doggone just about double-dog daré guarantee right now it won't emotionally hit me me like that big óle potlicker with slobber adrool all the time.

You mention Homeward Bound, I remember seeing it but I think even better (even more stirring) is an earlier-made flick called The Incredible Journey.

I think we all shed a tear that day!!!

Here is the link to the emotionally unsettling scene (warning; not for the faint of heart)

Shrek Moments - "Interrogating Gingy" - YouTube

I have to admit that I got a little chocked up at that scene, but I drank some milk and the gingerbread cookie I was eating made it safely to my tummy!

That last part is quité interesting , provocative, poignant, perplexing, even mind-numbing intetesting, AsIf. A dog can be loyal, but human capacity for loyalty is a much greater capacity, just like an animal is loving unconditionally in its capacity, but not even close to human beings capacity to love. Hmmm, yeah, good.

Very well said thought once again, AsIf, buddy óle pal

You are right, it was The incredible journey that was best, I am just used to silly Norwegian translations of movies.

and CCG is a close friend of mine It was she who got me addicted in the first place I think
