Why did you choose your CC nickname?

I was thinking of asking this in the "I've always wanted to ask..." thread, but figured it is a good enough stand alone topic.

So! Why did you choose your chat nickname? Would you change it if you could? Do you have it on multiple sites?

I chose my nickname because of its meaning "sent by God", so it kinda irks me when people mess with the spelling and change its meaning. I have used it in several forums over the years. A lot of people who know me by my real name prefer it and use it instead.

I came on CC when I started taking German my freshman year of High School. My email was Christian Knight at the time, so I decided to switch things up and found the German word for Knight is "Ritter."

Little did I know it was a common surname and that there is a brand of sports chocolate out there by that name. The questions get annoying, so there are times I would like to change it to something else.

LOL, Ritter, about the flat tire . I wanted a screen-name with the word "mom" in it, to hopefully keep shallow dudes from hitting on me. It worked. (well, I guess it was either the screen-name, or my repellent personality combined with the lack of a picture).

I wanna change my nickname everytime someone starts singing miley cyrus at me..........which is everytime i go in the chatrooms. (Note to self..staaay out of cc chat rooms)

When someone says something i dont like or doesnt make sense i do this.. nod my head and say yeaaaaaah

My middle name is Elena, and I threw an R in front because it's my first initial. I do use this nick on a few other sites.

For now it suits me.

Short version.

When I first started coming to CC, registering a nick was optional. At the time, I used kakiss16 as my screename just about everywhere. Well, it wasn't a very christian name, so I soon decided to stop using it.

So, I was quite a trouble maker back in the day. Most of you are probably not familiar with the old setup, but there used to be temporary (momentary) kicks at the mod's disposal alone with IP bans. Well, I was quite a trouble maker back in my teen years and pushed more than a couple of the mods buttons. There was one in particular who I would perpetually hassle; his nick was ThunderBolt2000.

Well, as I figured it, if Thunder Bolts, then Lightning Claps. And thus my nick was born, registered it shortly after and well, the rest is history(or should I say part of the long version). I have since used it in several variations, primarily the super shortened form lghtngclp.

I don't think I'd change it, though it's long, people just get confused with "lghtngclp"; hopefully the length doesn't annoy too many people.

I didn't make it up, my parents named me. So you'd have to ask them.
OK, not really. Actually i used to use the name Ahzmort on here, and all over the internet. But that name made people think of Voldemort, so everyone kept asking me if it had anything to do with harry potter. i hate harry potter and got sick of being asked, so i changed it. Since my normal mode of thinking of names tends to be a bit more morbid than most Christians prefer, and i didn't want to appear as a troublemaker, i thought Ugly sounded good, as it seemed funny. Little did i know how much attention it would get me, and how few people would get the humor.
I regularly get people who PM me and immediately start preaching at me about my name, without even a hi, or asking me about it first. Tends to cause me to get rude... so now i just put them on ignore immediately.
So yeah, just a funny name. Nothing more to it. And, i have not used it anywhere else so far.

I couldn't think of anything better when I was registering. The J is the first letter in my first name.
I have never and don't currently use this name anywhere else. This is the only forum I frequent now anyways.
