I want to share with you this video I found very interesting talking about the priviledge of living sex like a pure gift of God only with the beloved person in the marriage and not before. For us who are christian it makes even more sense. I Hope it's can encourage those who wants to make the best decision =) Enjoy:

They give a lot of good reasons in this video to save your sexual purity for your spouse. I think this is a really good thing. So many people think staying sexually pure is just because God says to, and since they see no tangible reason behind it, they don't think it's really worth following. Every commandment that God gives has a good reason behind it; He gives us rules to follow because they are the best thing for us, not because He likes to arbitrarily make up rules. Sex is probably the biggest one that people break, and their love of it keeps them from coming to church.

Thank you fire panther... I was so blessed to watch that video. Its funny because I knew exactly what is right as a christian, but sometimes you need help!! I have been patient so far, and am now 29 years of age. I was starting to believe the lie that it was getting 'late' for me, and that I just needed to be rid of it! That I was somehow a freak and no man would ever wait for me! I will share my story as it may help others:

I have recently been dating someone who is not a christian (first big mistake!!) for the last six months. He is a good looking man, thoughtful, and we have connected. So I started to fall into that lie that says 'what exactly is the problem? 'As long as he loves me, it should be fine'? I was becoming so weak and although a strong christian for many years, I just wanted love and to feel loved. Just like the young women in the video, sometimes you want love so much, and want to feel loved, that you feel like you will 'put up' with sex, just to get 'love'.

The video helped me realise that this is WRONG!! And that the right man, a man that truly loves you will wait for you. He will not find it 'bizarre' that you want to wait and will respect your body. Oh & your decisions!!

Thank God for this site..! & these forums. Its nice to see other people who share the same faith & are strong.
God bless you all.
