Ok, jrsf49erinCanada , I understand that you never would go out with a non-christian on a date, I won't either because.... IF I like the girl I will preface our FIRST MEETING conversation with figuring out if she is a christian, that should be paramount importance, I think.

Most guys on here think that too, but go ahead and vote 'never' if that is how you really would do it. I just would NEVER let her go withoit knowing I was a Christian . She, at that point should say, 'me too,' is how I see it.

And, we can talk hypothetically all day long , what if guy is lying about being christisn, or, what if girl is lying , for that matter.

Bottom line: we must have faith after that knowledge that God will protect us and get us through. In most cases, I doubt guy lies about something like that. Not that it is necessary but I would then ask her before this chance meeting is officially over if she wants to go to church.

I am thinking I am treating this thread as more of if I randomly encounter any human being male or female, because I am going to talk to them the same amount of time regardless of gender, and not mentioning Christianity upon these random encounters is ok by me. I am sure if the talk went over a certain time or certain things came up then that would come out, but I do not have a preconceived agenda to bring up Christ in every conversation of meeting someone, if it is the Lord's will He will bring that out through me and speak for Himself.

I let every girl I ever date/meet know that I'm a Christian, but not JUST a Christian, but a very SPRITUAL Christian. See, there's a HUGE difference if you ask me, because everyone under the sun claims to be a Christian, and none of them actually are. They sure don't act like it. I actually study it in my free time. I pay attention to it. I learn more than the core concepts. I learn my Bible verses. Most people don't, at least not the large majority of claimed Christians, so it isn't so much that you tell anyone that you are, but more so that you tell them that you are a REAL one.

Oh, and it happens sometime after they first meet me, but who actually looks at the time limit? That's just dumb. Things come up naturally.

Seriously, Christ bro, this thread is not about just a random meeting with a male or female stranger, its about going to your grocery store and seeing a girl that makes your brain start going and going . And going, and, going..... You are immediately attracted to her and no more perfect place to place a little plate of convo in the situation as the lady in front of you has about 400 items to check and that doesn't even include the lady in front of her with 500 items

So, you, my friend have time to get to know the lady !

Probably 10-15 minutes in this particular scenario. So, as you say something like , 'I bet your happy I only have 25 items.'

She looks at your quarter full cart of Banquet tv dinners and says, 'you like the bachelor life i see.'

You both laugh and, wham, bam, thank you, God (try to thank Him in the midst of this chance lucky encounter seeing the girl of your dreams) , and so how long after this tidbit into the convo do you say SOMETHING God-related, Jer ?

:P gotcha, that helps a little, i guess i don't come across these situations or choose not to.. however if i did, i guess I can vote now and answer appropriately! i think back a few years ago when i got a new hair dresser, she was my age and you always chat with hairdressers or they do with you, and i remember talking about church so i guess i can't vote never. i guess since full time work started and energy levels depleted i haven't had many opportunities to get to know new girls, only talk to girls i already knew. but thanks for the clarity.

so i need to get out more.. and i am cause i am talking a leave off work to do just that :P wooo

I learned from past mistake to tell the girl right away im a Christian n tell her my beliefs. So from now on the girl will know right away as soon as we meet so she knows right away.if she doesn't except me excepting Christ then I CAnt except her as my girlfriend there is no way.thats why its good to date a girl in the church rather than a girl who doesn't have ur belief s.
