What have you done ?

One of the most awesome versicles to me that is in the bible is this :

Luke 22:42 "saying, “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”

and when i read this, i remember all the times that as a human beings we sometimes want something but bible tell that we should do something else.

have you been often in those kind of situations in which you dont want to do something but a versicle of bible say that you have to, so you finally do what God wants and then you feel very surprised yourself ?

what have you done in those situations?
