Do guys that are close friends with other guys help them find a girlfriend, or at least introduce them to new girls?

Last year my best friend, who is already dating a gal, tried getting me to ask out a girl who goes to his church. I entertained the idea until he told me she was 18(college freshman). I was like "Nahhhhhhhhhhhhh. Thanks for trying to help a friend out though.". That's about all of that story.lol

False. All that close guy friends do to help each other is either fart in your face and laugh about it. Eat all your food in the house and laugh about it or date your younger sister and laugh about it.

I would not think it is my responsibility to set anyone up, male or female. I also don't expect anyone else to set me up either. I don't get why people think their love life is anyone elses responsibility.

Far as the whole 'all guys do is fart, etc..' comment, i find it ironic coming from a female, who only see's one side of how guys act and assume that is all there is to them. When i was a teen did we do all that silly stuff? Yeah, we did. Was that all we did? Not at all. A few of my friends and i started a bible study. My best friend through my teens we often discussed our faith, our struggles, the bible. We tried to help each other through the tough times. Correct each other when needed.

I hate being set up and I would not wish that upon anyone. Now if someone is subtle and says something like, "Don't you think so and so is (smart, cool, amazing, neat, pretty, thoughtful, etc)?" I might try to get to know that person. However, if someone introduces us, I will be skeptical.


The worst attempt is usually the invite both parties to something and then you the coordinator flake but tell the people that you are seeing to have fun without you.

I think if people have the freedom to see and enjoy each other's company they will. However if pushed, people will become skeptical.
