Ok, most of us are here because we don't have a significant other, so what will us "gifted singles" be doing on that one day that romance rules?

I'll go first:
I will probably go see a movie and maybe drive to the beach and do some photography.

I don't give Valentine's day the significance some people give, I don't really know if I would give that significance when I am in a relationship. I want my other one to feel special all the time and I want our time to be always special, maybe I would surprise him, some day that isn't Valentine's.
Valentine's day is just a product of the materialism of the US, that forces you to make THAT day special. Well I don't like routines. I prefer surprises.

I'll be giving my friends some candy (just gonna drop it into their mailboxes on campus). Then I've got 3 classes that day: nutrition, human behavior, and the utterly-romantic pre-calculus.

I like this post a lot, Erika.

I will be doing the same things I would do on any other week day.

It looks as though Valentines day lands on the 100th day of school for me, so I see lots of cut out hearts and a big mess of paper in my future. :) I really don't do anything for this particular day, but this year it will be neat to see the kids excitement for this special day. Isn't it amazing that so much emphasis has been put on Valentines Day even in the elementary schools? I hope it's full excitement for all the kids and not hurt.

Haven't a clue what I'll be doing. I have the privilege of not having to think that far ahead. I'll probably think of something to do though.

I''ll probably sit around like I normally do on Val's Day.
But last Val;s Day was pretty cool, cuz I wasn't sitting around. I went out dancing with a bunch of my way cool friends.
I'd like to that again, but it doesn't look possible at this moment in time.

I think it's ironic that you have these two classes on Valentine's day.

I bought my 3 kids, my mom and my 2 best friends gifts---and, I plan on giving them their gifts around that date as I see them. And, I will thank Jesus that He loves me so much that He gave up everything for me!! How can anyone be sad if they comtemplate that for more than 5 minutes???
