Jesus says:" Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." ,would anyone of you share your experience that you deny yourself and take up your cross and follow Jeus?"

Funny that I should find this here today. :) I've been struggling with a medical issue for about 15 years now that was really getting me down. I was very discouraged and my focus has not been as it should for almost a year now, maybe longer. But about a week ago, God began to do a work in my life in this area.

While the struggle Job had tested him, strengthened his faith and gave him a tremendous testimony, there came a time when he was fed up. There comes a time when God says we have stood the test as well and restores us. Today was that day for me.

I was getting ready for church this morning and one of the Narnia movies just happened to be on tv. It was the battle scene where the kids are fighting the evil witch with all of their might, but she is clearly more skilled at her craft. But Aslan appears and takes her down. You see the face of this beautiful lion appear on the screen and that magnificent voice says, "IT IS FINISHED". It hit my spirit like a rocket and I knew with certainty that God was as tired of that battle as I and, in Him, I am victorious over this thing.

It's a matter of personal revival for me and I'm feeling a hotter fire in my spirit than I've felt in a very long time. So, if you think this lil redhead has been spunky so far, you ain't seen nuttin' yet. ;)

LET THE REDEEMED OF THE LORD SAY SO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It does seem that our Father knows best when to kick us in the seat of the pants, and when to encourage us. I've found that His timing is always perfect in the using of both even though we may not think so at the time.
