I like that statement "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger" but I would insert a 'can' or 'may' in there. Life experiences can be hurtful and hard....it's only when, and IF, we turn to God for help that we are made stronger.

I agree with you, what makes you stronger is God and not the experience.
