Why can't we choose more than one? In my eyes these aren't all mutually exclusive. Anyway......I voted "just started thinking and praying about it" but I am totally also "Enjoying being single at the moment". And I wouldn't say committed is the right word, but I am definitely working on flaws as they come up.

I'm just about to move out and currently I love being single, I can do what I want when I want. This single life is looking pretty promising. :)

Yeah, i had two choices too. I'm preparing myself.. but kind of feel it may never happen. Not so much just my age, but with my health issues. Its one thing to have a spouse get sick... its a whole other story to pick someone who already has an illness. Combine that with my personality flaws =P And age and yeah..

Dothackbuddy, you get INTO Christ 100% to the best of your human ability and God will work in ways that will amaze your spirit to succeed in a way most joyful to you. :)

On a lighter note, I like how your 'committed' quote captions your avatar (saluting), lol, but, yeah, seriously, dotbro, just follow God---dig into church fellowship and (not) girl fellowship--and see where He takes you. I know not where it will be, but I do KNOW it will be an awesome place of growth, Love, blessing for you. The Lord leads, Christ bro, let The Spirit lead you, your every move, pray, prsy, pray, that YOU are doing His will and juSt GO forth step with Him. In His time, for whatever He hath for you, you....

will be ready. :)

()()()_)()()()()()()
LOL to 'pretend that i'm not here,' julieannie. But, seriously, Christ peeps, never pretend, be REAL and JUST let The Lord guide you. IF you are His, you will do this, you will accept His disciplined, yet comforting, walk planned out JUST for you to be best ready to serve Him, as, one, two, or, three. :)

Oooh, WAIT, I was letting poetic value steer moral (and Godly) ways to live. NOOoo, not as 'three.' :D

I'm like a squirrel trying to squeeze the last nut into my tree-hole when I see winter coming a few weeks too soon. Kinda looks like this:

If that analogy doesn't make sense, then it is in keeping with the rest of my life.

I'm heavily into ministry and probably will be until the Lord decides to take me home. Because of this, the one thing that attracts me most to a woman is her heart toward God and other people. The first thing I ask is "does this woman have what it takes (both passion & compassion) to be a spiritual mother in ministry?" The second thing I ask is "is our giftings / callings compatible?"

Taking this into consideration, I realize that the kind of woman that I'm interested in is probably asking herself similar questions concerning the guys that she meets. I conclude that the only thing that I can do to help my cause is to run after God just as fast and as focused as I can and allow God to do the rest. The way I see it, it's my passion for both God and people that going to attract her to me and if we're both headed in the same direction, our paths will cross. God will be sure of that. :)

Never forget Psalms 37:4 (NIV) "
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."

That... analogy... I need to sit down.

Confusing analogy
is confusing.

Cute squirrel, though.

I'm enjoying being single, working on my relationship with God :) But I wouldn't be against something happening, so my second choice would be "if it happens, it happens". :)

The first thing is to make sure your heart is right with God, because apart from that nothing else matters. Have you repented of all your vile sins against God? 2 Cor 7-10-11, Have you actually crucified your flesh with Him? Galatians 2-20. Have you come out of the world and its vain attractions? 1 JH 2-15-17.
Have you put God first in your life, and I don't mean spending a few hours in church on Sunday, and doing a few good deeds, I mean have you forsook all known sin, walking in purity, sincerity and love, with no hint of any sexual immorality in your life? Gal 5-19-21.
So prepare yourself first, and wait upon the Lord, He will bring you a mate IF its in HIs will for your life, and he or she must be on the same page spiritually.
You must be walking in the light as He is in the light, living a crucified life IN Christ, a new creation through real repentance and faith, walking in the power of Christ, Phil 4-13, and in the power of the spirit, Gal 5-16.
But most of all seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and the rest will be provided, BUT if you are a double minded, lukewarm Christian, Dont expect to be so blessed in this area, unless you seek your own, and will sow what you reap. Gal 6-7.
Be content with where you are in life, dig deep into the truth, share it boldly as God leads you, and above all else keep yourself unspotted from the world!

I'm not ready at all at the moment. Mostly because I'm trying to focus on God, and let Him be my 'husband'. :] When he thinks I am prepared, I'm sure he will bring Mr.Right along. I'm looking forward to being a wife, and mother one day but I need to let God mold me into the woman he wants me to be. Strong, Godly, and completely in love with Him.

I chose if it happens it happens. All in God's timing.

Hey Ugly are you really ugly? Bet it's just the opposite! I know I'm nowhere near ready-getting a wrong one out presently! And if it's not too personal may I ask about your illness? And if anyone 40 c/o age, well yesterday I turned @) yrs. older than that & hey I'm still pretty & worthwhile! Or do I have to move to Europe? Nope. Their economies have been made worse than ours. Those silly caps were on-meant 20 yrs, older. All in God's time right now. God Bless! And we're not perfect yet;expect a mistake...or 2...or 3 Honey52
