Your trusty moderator isn't twisting scripture. I'm writing to remind my fellow men of a simple fact.

When she resists you. When she is firm in her resistance. When she is going way out of her way to not make contact with you. When she is saying no in every overt, direct and indirect way possible. It means one simple thing.

It means she ain't interested, and stalking and clinging and whining is NOT an option.

It simply means move along bucko, that fishy is looking for another fisherman.

Not to be little miss obvious here, but maybe we should also point out that no means no when guys say it too. :) Stalking may seem like a form of flattery, but it's not.

Women don't always resist because another fisherman comes along. Sometimes they just want to be left alone.

If a man or woman has several people aggressively pursuing them, it can be overwhelming, especially when that person is extremely mindful of not wanting to hurt anyone. Even online they will get to the point of not wanting to go into chat because they can't participate in conversations because their attention is being demanded in PM. So they withdraw and hide. These forums are a good place for that. :)

Just as it would be cool if the person who would be good for you to speak up, it would also be great if the person who would be good for you would be the ONLY one to speak up. :) But this is a far from perfect world and we're far from perfect people, huh?

Thanks, Holly. I know you get where I’m coming from. :) Since I typed that in my sleep I wondered whether it even made sense. :D

Some people are players/attention seekers, but some of us are just here to chill, bounce ideas off of others, laugh, type our thoughts out loud, learn from others and make genuine friendships, male AND female. If you are a one man kinda woman (and I would think this to be a GOOD thing), it is incredibly overwhelming to be hammered with attention like that, isn’t it? :(:confused: How will you ever hear the voice/read the words of Mr Right if all of the Mr IJustWant2SeeUrPic&GetUrPhone#s keep drowning him out? :confused:

You can even go into a FORMAL BIBLE STUDY and guys will bug the crap out of you. :mad: (Can I say crap here? Sorry if I can’t…) You go into chat to see male and female friends who probably thought you died (haha) :D, who may be struggling with issues that you’ve been praying about, trying to help new people orient themselves to the program or just enjoy a casual conversation, and guys are PMing you with questions like these:

Ooo I've solved this with my, "I don't date CC people unless God sends me a burning Bush/writing on the wall, heads up" policy. :p

No burning bushes YET, and some chill online friends to talk too.

Oh man, The Beach Boys are a train wreck. And George Stephanopoulos is now a Dick Clark like band introducer. I liked him better as a campaign advisor in the mid 90s. Who would have thought some campaign advisor would be introducing the Beach Boys three decades later?

There should be a mandatory retirement age for singers/hip swivelers. Musicians are cool at any age tho ;)

I was never a fan of George.

I think all of us male and female have dealt with different people who seem to try to monopolize our time in CC, of course I do realize the ladies have it worse. Some are trying to pick up on us, others when they find someone who will talk to them will just hyper focus on that one person. I have either not logged in to avoid a specific person, or logged out as soon as I saw them come in just to avoid the situation.

This is how an actual conversation went not long ago on here.

Guy: u should put up a pic where i can c ur face better

Me: No, i really shouldn't

Guy: Why u so rude I jus wanna c if ur cute

Me: (at this point im ignoring him)

Guy: u gona put up that pic?

Me: No, and were done talking now.

Guy: Hello u ther

Me: (still ignoring him)

Guy: pleazz put up pic

That continued on for a few minutes, him begging me to put up a different picture while i ignored him.That conversation still makes me shake my head, and not just because of the picture comment, but for a 28 year old man his grammer was like a 12 year old girl.

I get asked i don't know HOW many times, your 29 shouldn't you be married and have kids already???
This question makes me wanna reach through my computer and choke somebody.

I like talking with different people, male and female, thats why i go into the chat room. I like hearing about other people's mess, which is why i read and post in the forums. I'm not here to date anyone, or to try and find someone. Some guys can't seem to respect that and they try and demand all your attention. That doesn't sit well with me and i'm always quick to let them know that. After i have had a talk with whatever person is bothering me, i always get told how ''unchristian'' i am, and get called a slew of names in some cases.

Sometimes i don't even wanna come in here because i don't appreciate the 15 messages so and so has sent me in the past half an hour!
