I especialy like what the pope said in his first letter. The very beginning in fact. As, I do believe that the bible is the main word of God. I reflect that statement.

"(1) That Protestants, who accept the Bible as the only rule of faith and religion, should by all means go back to the observance of the Sabbath. "

Here is what I think about that.
I believe the Sabbath was a command for the Jewish people... Where in the NT does it re-iterate this as a law? The Gentiles which Paul helped to convert to Christianity didn't participate in Sabbath. However it also says do not judge a Sabbath day which I take to mean, take one if you want and do it w/ your heart into it. I understand the Catholics changing the day of worship as Sunday b/c of it's meaning but I don't agree with them calling it the Sabbath (If they did, I don't know but many people think the Sabbath is Sunday.. always been a pet peeve)

I may have believed that retoric before reading the word for myself. The thing that stops me, is I know I read in the bible, God said "Do not make me work on the sabbath.". If the sabbath was made just for man and not God. Why would God have said that?
