All I can say is that I've been that age and all my friends and guys that I knew were always interested in who is "hot", where to meet "hot" girls, and how to meet them. We were all single and dating. I don't know what its like where you are but I think my experience is probably pretty common among guys in their late teens / early 20's.
There is much truth in what you say however it is not true of every young person that is out there. There are young men who will stand up for what is right.

I know this will upset people, but I'm going to say it anyways-big cities, sprawling colleges, major dating sites- go to them! Yeah there will be some losers, but you will also have a great chance of meeting someone who fits you.

Also a great way to meet someone is get involved in the things you love to do: art, sports, music- whatever. Every guy ( that was an awesome guy) that I have dated I actually met doing ministry. There are bold men of God out there and they are usually serving in some way.

Not that I'm encouraging you to join a ministry to meet men.... ;)

And even after all that you may not meet someone. I have been very involved in my church and I am yet to meet anyone.

Hey, Don´t give up!!! You are so young and pretty. You only have to do four things: to pray, to believe, to worship and to wait in what God is going to do in your life.

(Continuation of above post)

As far as your comment about finances, having money does not make someone a good partner. In fact, a christian should not even care how much money someone has. The most important thing is that the person honors God, honors her and loves her.
I love the advice you've given and your way of thinking! Excellent words for a young (or older) girl. God bless you for being so obedient.
