Ladies,

A man without God is a man you can live without. ;)

Remember, that the Bible never says, "Figure it out." However, you will find over and over that it says, "Trust God." He's already got it all planned out for us. Being our Father, He obviously wants the best for us. [refer Jeremiah 29:11]
When God knows that you are ready for the responsibility of commitment, He WILL reveal the right person under the right circumstances. So, don't lose hope, for the Lord our God says, "Be still and I know that I am God."

In Christ's love,
Genevieve

wish my mother would realize this, she gets with every thug or homeless guy or the same men that she had in the past,it really is sad that some people just never learn from mistakes,I keep praying for her to get with God to find a decent guy but she still persists to go to the wrong men.

very well said... however i have heard this a million times from my sponsor (NA) and my mother and sister it still makes it hard somedays to wake to that empty side of the bed and the fact that i would so love to share life with someone other than my cat... after being in a large amount of relationships as i grew up and was using that where unhealthy... I now have been working on myself for four years and am at a healthy point in life where i would like there to be someone else... I have looked online but only to get hurt time and time again by catfishing... so i have given that part up... I am trying to get back into bible study hoping that through daily reading god will fulfill my life with the power he has to fulfill me. I would love feedback and prayers from anyone that is willing... Thanks in gods name candi

Will you still be saying that when you die alone?
Maybe people expect the lord to do everything for us when he... wont.

My, my aren't we the merry ray of sunshine? She has put herself out there not sitting on her laurels.... Just a reminder there is no Bible verse that says God helps those who help themselves...

God helps us because we can't help ourselves. Have a blessed day/evening.

I think both sides are kind of right here. Let me explain:

God has a plan for us, and if we wait he will reveal it to us. The thing is we will have things we need to do to. First we must be seeking Him, and listening for the answer. Second, we must move how he directs. Like the joke about the man on the roof in the flood knowing God will save him turning down the row boat, the speed boat and the helicopter only to die and realize those were God trying to save him. We must be listening for what God is telling us to do as well when the time comes. He has a plan, but He does expect us to be a part of that plan usually.
