I get so Taxed by people's garbage. I'm tired of ignoring it. I'm tired of tripping over it. I'm tired of trying to legalistically navigate my way through it.

I used to think that there was something missing. If 42 + X = happiness contentment and life, then solve for X. If the material could be fixed, the problem would be solved. If he's hungry, feed him. If he is thirsty give him water. But X is not hunger or thirst, its garbage. Garbage is never satisfied. Its like a Tribble, born pregnant, and if you feed it, it will only make more.

If only I had a little bit more money, I would be content. If only I was a little taller, I would be noticed. If only I was born French Canadian, I wouldn't hate myself. If only I was thinner... If only I was prettier...

If only.... everyone else was different, I would feel more accepted. If only everyone else would just talk like I do, I would feel understood. If only everyone else was just like me, I wouldn't feel so alone.

Its all garbage. Its lies, filled in our head by the father of lies. Dumping it out doesn't fix anything, it just stirs it up for everyone else to climb onto the bandwagon. Expressing my resentment, my anger, my malice, my stress, my frustration, my bitterness, my anxiety, my fear, and my unforgiveness causes strife. Misery loves company, but no one wants to live that way. We will all die in our garbage, lonely, desperate and helpless, if we don't stop spreading it everywhere. Our Lord Jesus did not suffer on the Cross so that we could stew in our own trash.

We are each like trees, each one of us defined by the very fruit that we bear. Pear trees, make pears, Peaches make Peaches. From such a thing, such a thing comes. We are Christians, we are suppose to spread Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Faithfulness, Goodness, Kindness, Gentleness and Self-Control.

We belong to Love. We are filled with the Joy of the Lord. We have the peace that passes understanding (down in our heart), The Lord is our example in Patience, Let us be as faithful to the Lord as the tide, as Good to one another as they were in Acts, as Kind and Gentle with each other as we would be with a sibling.

If the Son has set you free then you are free indeed. Cast all your cares upon the Lord, because He cares for you. Our Father does not grow wearied by the sound of your prayers. He knows and understands the groaning of your innermost being. Our God, who takes care of even the smallest creatures needs, hears you. You worth so much more than you realize and are Loved beyond measure. God is good, all the time.

I picked French Canadian because its about the least controversial thing I could come up with.

But seriously, who doesn't wish they were born French Canadian?

Well if you were planning on making fun of Canadians, the stereotype is 'aboot' (apparently :p) lol
Lol, I wasn't making fun :). The stereotype is "aboot", but in my experience, "a-boat" is more accurate. Even though I'm a lifelong Southerner, people keep asking me if I'm Canadian, because I say "a-boat". It's a regional thing, though :)

Oh I see. Just being technical, gotta keep these stereotypes alive and correct, you know :p
