If this subject is important to you and he continually disagrees with your stance, this will only continue to be an issue. I guess the question is how important is it to you that you are with someone who agrees with you on this subject. If you wish to talk and give me more details on the specifics of this topic I might be able to give you more direct advice

Don't know how much you know about computers and this site so will keep it simple.
First, if you click on my user name it will give you several options including send a mail which is private. For chat rooms you click on the chat rooms link on the top left which will take you to a new page. Near the top just under the donate banner, you will see 3 fields. Chose the options that suit your situation(like whether you are on dialup or highspeed internet), then click the chat now button. This will pop up a new window, if it doesn't you may have to check you popup settings. This puts you directly into the lounge chat room, from there you can click on the rooms at the top to change rooms. If you want to Private message someone double click on their username and it will popup a small chat window within the main chat window.

hi. sometimes when i am in a disagreement i try to here what the other person says first and let them know you are paying attention with eye contact and facial jestures. after thier done getting thier point herd. then i will try and let them know i understand what they have said and would like to have a chance to put my point of view out there to be herd and hopefully understood as well. then after both sides had thier turn i would then try and find a reasonable compramise or solution. if there dosent seem to be either one of those that work. you may have a tough time getting them to feal the same as you. i hope this can help.
