That awkward moment when you fell asleep and took a nap. Then when you woke up, your glasses seem to just magically disappear... And the back up pair you have are broke, which is your original pair. But you had been wearing your back up pair...

Sometimes, you just have to do things to entertain yourself when you're bored outta your mind, and let me tell you, that reception was painfully boring. -shrugs-

The awkward moment when you are listening to a recorded lecture for an online medical terminology class and the instructor introduces the term esophagogastroduodenoscopy and quickly reminds you that spelling the medical terms correctly is vital to passing the course.

For the record that term is the process of viewing the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum with a scope.I learn something new everyday

That awkward moment when you are sitting at a red light texting and the car behind you honks their horn at you because the light is green and by the time you look up, it's turning yellow and you make it through the light but everyone behind you get's stuck until it turns green again. Only happened to me once! Lol

that awkward moment when you're hanging out with your married friends, and they start talking about certain things (married people talk), and one of them says, "let's not talk about that because then melita will feel left out."

and then you reply, "not necessarily left out. just..... awkward."

last night, i was the 5th wheel. but it's ok because my friends loooooooooooooove me. lol

You know, that 5th wheel comment made me think...some people just dont know when it is time to keep their big mouths shut...we were two couples hanging out once, and there was this girl with us, she was single...a really nice girl, though, good looking and everything. My friends hubby, though, is a loudmouth, and what he be thinking aint none of our business, but that man, he cant help it, he just has to say out loud everything on his mind. Well, that nice girl said, in a real sweet way she felt like the 5th wheel. You know what he said? I still cant believe it myself. He said: Nothing like a spare tire, (her name)...and he said this in front of his own wife...wow...that was...awkward to say the least....

Melita, I know what you mean. Just last week, I was sharing a meal with my dear friends. One couple have been married for quite some years and the other couple will be married by the beginning of December. We get along great and I don't feel awkward, but sometimes I can't relate to their conversations and that's okay. That said, I've never seen myself as the third or even fifth wheel, more just a friend. Bless you, sister. :)

That awkward moment when half the things people coment as awkward, you just don't find them awkward at all....

I'm single... I go out with couples, I travel with couples, and I don't mind... I am always mindful to ask if it's a couple romantic moment and all before inviting myself... if they say it's not, I'm cool!! :)

And if I don't see that the red light has turned green and people don't warn me, I get annoyed that they didn't... huahuahuahaua after all, they want to move as well...

Oh well...
