OK, we're not here to Lie, that is unChristian. so let's call it 2 truths and an intentional deception for the sake of amusement to later be revealed in the interest of truth... or maybe just that silly game from back in the day.

For those of you who aren't sure how it goes, tell two things about you that are true and one that is not. Normally we'd try to guess which is which and then whoever got it right goes next, but this is the "modified online version" where you simply wait for at least two people to post after you before revealing which one is the untruth. If you are AFK, it is OK to let more than 2 people post after you, but please try to post up again next time you are here. We all have something going on IRL even if it is just pausing to eat so that we can not die of starvation while living our whole life on CC.

2) I'm a twin, but my sibling died at birth.

My reveal:
3) This is true. Someone bestowed me with this title for my ability to get fire to do what I want it to... this sounds way cooler than it is, I simply mean manipulating it to heat my house as desired, but honestly I'm decent at it.
2) Also true. I was in 1st grade. Dad kept trying to get me closer and closer for the perfect photo. It hurt like mad.
1) Nope. I know a pitiful little about football, despite having been to so many (all) games in high school as part of the marching band.

Tres Mas:
A) I used to swim competitively.
b) I have camped in the mountains of Mexico doing mission work without running water or electricity.
c) I've never committed a felony.

Ok. This is just a fun get to know you kinda thing. Not really a lie... For example, here are my truths..

1- I have a pet snake. - NO WAY...I HATE SNAKES, CANT EVEN SEE A PICTURE OF THEM IT FREAKS ME OUT.
2- I love tatoos even though I don't have any.THIS IS TRUE. I REALLY LIKE TATOOS ON PEOPLE AS LONG AS THEY ARE WELL MADE AND NOT COVERING YOUR FACE.
3- I lost a friend in CC due to conflicts and this hurt more than I thought it would. THIS IS TRUE, UNFORTUNATELY.

That is really a lie and you are lying to yourself when you say it isn't. You may be able to fool yourself, but you cannot fool God. If you don't have a snake and you say you do that is a lie.

A lie is a Lie is a LIE.

If a person gets to a place where they can lie and not feel any sort of remorse for it, they are in a dangerous place....

I am not trying to be rude here, it just hurts me to see that people can play a lying game and think that it is innocent fun.

I apologize to you if this comes across as wrong in your eyes. Trust me when I say, there is a big difference between this thread and lying. It was meant as fun and a way to get to know ppl here. But let's agree to disagree. God Bless You brother.

A few more for me..
1- I only have 1 sister.
2- It is extremely cold where I live, lots of snow.
3- I want to go back to school and get my Bachelor's degree.

It is only a lie if the starter of the thread called this game "3 truths" but still made something up.

2. I once got a kiss on the cheek from a celebrity.

3. I have a Spongebob Squarepants poster, autographed by voice of Spongebob (Tom Kenny) himself. :p

#1 is correct. I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer the tv show. The movie isn't my cup of tea.
#3 is correct. My hair has been all of those lovely colors.

#2 is wrong. I don't have a twin who died.

2) I think it would be cool to have coffee with President Obama and his wife Michelle.

#1. I haven't been to Maine, yet.

#2 is incorrect. I have never broken a bone.

#3. Like Miss Duchess, my hair also really has been all of those colors...
