In other news: I fired up my audio converter program, pointed it at my music collection and told it to go make an mp3 copy of the whole thing. Usually it will give an estimated time to completion when I run an album or two. When I started the whole 8,247 track collection running it wouldn't give me an estimate. Like it was telling me "Go get a cup of coffee, read the paper, maybe paint the house... it's gonna be a while."

77% completed at 13 hours and 53 minutes so far. And my computer's fan has kicked on for the first time in months.

@ Zero and Tintin: Ni!

Hopefully by sometime this week, I'll be replying to you all on a new laptop. :D I just ordered all the parts I need to get it running again.

Now, if only I could remember what exactly I came online for...

This week and weekend is going to be a busy one and I'm kind of tired just thinking about it, but I'm excited.

one time, a caller wanted me to check her insurance. she said she had to find her insurance card in her purse or wherever. so i waited for her to say she was back so i can get the information i needed. no one spoke for what felt like an eternity until i finally said, "hello?" she said, "yes i'm waiting for you to tell me what my insurance covers" ........... and yet, she had not given me ANY information: company name, member id, date of birth. how was i supposed to check?!!

GAH!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh.

I'm throwing ibuprophen at this bad tooth and it helps for a couple of hours, but my stomach can't handle that for very long. Found out my dentist has closed up shop since last time I saw him, so I had to get an appointment with another dentist. Fortunately I got one for tomorrow afternoon - which was actually better than tomorrow morning, as I will be at work for the lunch rush (which on the first of the month is always hectic, people get their government checks.)

Now I just have to get some sleep tonight despite this tooth. Somehow.
You might want to try Anbesol. Its for toothaches/gum aches..

There's me with my Rickenbacker (I wish)! Never stop playing, Gabe. Maybe one day we'll get together and do a cover for our CC folk.
That would be cool. I've actually had dreams where I sat in for Neil during a concert haha. :D Best dreams ever! By the way, I tried throwing my stick up high and catching it in the middle of Red Barchetta like Neil always does in concert, but I couldn't catch it. :p

I seriously feel like if I get through this house hunting without stabbing someone with a fork; I should awarded with $1,000,000 and given a medal of honor.
Gahhhhh!!! I need something to un-stress myself.

So I just typed "Best way to peel a turnip" into the YouTube search box...

Why in the HEE HAW was the first hit to come up: "Best Ways To Skin and Peel a Squirrel."

ARGH!!!

This is why I don't get into fancy cooking.

Haha. Just use an ordinary potato peeler. Maybe a paring knife if the skin near the stem is tough.

Watcha makin'?
