I wonder if mental health might have some correlation with a few people's post counts.

A lot of people are active posters - however it has been spread over a long time frame. There are people who have been members on here for 6 years and there are a few who have been on for just over 2 years and they have almost up to 48,000 posts.

That's about 50 posts a day. Some of them average to around 10 a day. I understand that many people may have limitations that keep them from doing anything else - so perhaps arguing and posting all over CC seems to be their only best option then.

*Shrugs*

I am just glad settings allow PMs to come only from friends on here. From my recent experience, that's the last thing I want to deal with - conversations with such people with questionable backgrounds.

Nope. Just nope.
Yea I know what you mean. I even remember seeing some folks in chat that seemed to be on there 24/7. It could be mental health issues and it could also be internet addiction. With me its both of course... :p

I JUST GOT MY GRADE FOR MY FIRST 2 MODULES AND I GOT HIGHEST DISTINCTION (THEY DON'T GIVE US THE ACTUAL PERCENTAGE) FOR BOTH OF THEM. I WAS VERY SCARED I WAS GOING TO MISS A FEW MARKS FROM THE FINAL EXAM BUT GOD HAS SHOWN ME FAVOUR AND YES I AM VERY HAPPY. CAN'T YOU SEE EVERYTHING IS IN CAPS. I JUST NEED 6 MORE MODULES AND GET HIGHEST DISTINCTION FOR THEM ALL AND I GET A FULL SCHOLARSHIP NEXT YEAR.

I WILL GO TO THE HAIR SALON AND CELEBRATE.

Lol. Thanks Roh roh! I should try that. I was thinking of dying my hair neon green.
I have a better idea, Abe.
Try dumping a cake on your hair. It would give a multi-coloured effect - white, red, brown

It's what some forums call a health meter. Its based on how active you are in the forums. Its something to do how often you post compared to how long you've been a member... If you take a hiatus like a month or so you'll see some green bars disappear and you cant just make a bunch of posts to get them back. Its some kind of algorythym thing..
Really? Cuz I often take like long breaks from this site, like even once for like 4 months.

Well then I don't know :p But look at Roh for example... he only has half the rep power I have and he has just as many green bars... It's anyone's guess I guess... Or someone can ask a mod... if u can find one :p

Dear Rachel20: I have it on the authority of personal experience that you don't need to worry about unsolicited PMs. I only get an unexpected PM maybe once every year and a half or so. And when I do it's related to something I said in the forum.

While we're psychoanalyzing post counts though, what does mine say about me? Now I'm all curious.

Lynx, you're a dude without your own photo as your avatar. Guys rarely have to worry about unsolicited PM's even with a picture, except TinTin of course, who is often accosted by Jack and told that he is headed for the nether world, or something.

Hi Lynx,

You are a far way off from 48,000 posts – so don’t worry about it. :p

Also one incident is enough for me to not want to deal with that sort of stuff anymore. I got a weird email that I didn’t bother to read on whole, before I closed it and changed my settings.

Fortunately or unfortunately, it’s not men who might be after me to send me PMs. It would probably be some batty old women stalking my posts and no one has time for that.

Regards,
Rach

LOL. I wouldn't doubt that happens to Tinman.

Speaking of unsolicited PMs, I got one yesterday from, supposedly a female, telling me to send her an email cause she had something 'important' to say... Maybe some top-secret CIA mission.

I would assume it's KaylaGirl (?). I remember she mentioned she PM'd you (or so if I remember correctly) to settle your differences. I actually think it's a good opportunity. But that's just me... and it's none of my business.
