Games were harder and way more fun when you couldn't get answers online.
This is true to a certain extent. There was always at least one devilishly difficult puzzle or obstacle to overcome that took the wind out of your sails.

I recall the GameShark. And those giant "strategy guides" they sold at MediaPlay.
Was Game Shark Playstation? I had a Playstation that was broken... So you could play burned games. Hooligan, I was!
I had some strategy guides at one point, but really who would need those if you had a subscription to Nintendo Power? (Useless magazine)

Jonathan Edwards was a mighty preacher- although a little strong to take. I can still picture the image of people hanging just above the pit of doom. And Bono is a humanitarian, give the kid a chance. ;)
Yeah... You are right. I will have to add them back on the list of things I am okay with. Always good to bounce these things off of people!

Thank God I hosted that. It all started with some Arminian in another thread suggesting that Calvinists host a love-in rather than sniping at her.

And I thought...well...why not? I've made many a forum friend in the process. One of the best moves I've ever made on here.

It was fore-ordained. :p

Lolol... Yep. It all started with that love-in you hosted!

It almost makes me feel bad for saying that all Calvinists have head injuries.

Almost.

Well... actually I do feel a little.. no, no... it was there for a second but it passed.

Darn.

Sorry.

I suppose I was just predestined to be like this.

It's a handy thing to have, predestination. You can explain away a lot. Instead of the verse "love covers a multitude of sins", perhaps it should be "predestination covers a multitude of sins".

Do you remember that movie about the boy and the killer whale? I think it was called "Free Will" or something.

It was a welcomed break from the Total Depravity thread. I was in the line of fire on that one...

One time a friend of mine got all into Calvinism.

Then one day, he tells me how he made some terrible terrible financial decisions.
And he says, "I'm really upset. I don't understand WHY GOD LET ME DO THAT!"

Although I'm not a Calvinist, I said,
"That isn't how it works. Sit down, and let me explain your own theology to you... so you'll feel better."

: )

Lol, I figured I probably went too far. Dragging in Bible Debate. Mea Culpa. I take all the blame for willfully being a smart aleck.

I have a name for the podcast I'm planning to do (hopefully soon), but it includes my surname and it doesn't work well phonetically, so I had to modify the spelling. Should be okay.

Oh snap! You had an original Gameboy? It appeared on many of my Christmas lists. Perhaps I will resurrect it for 2017.

No, harm. Unlike the movie series. I think the took their gift of Free Will too far. How many times can one boy save a killer whale? Maybe it was destiny. ;)

My podcast will be my musings about the early chapters of Genesis (1-11). I'm going to call it Genesis with Jeski. Jeski being my surname (but that's not how it's really spelled).

Good thing with the title of this thread. You can bring in anything you want... whether its on account of your own free will or predestination. Lol

**Spoiler alert**

I never was into video games like Nintendo or even into watching television. Does that mean I'm not normal? :p
