It's a very long story, but the short of it is that after pouring my all into a relationship with someone, they gave up on me in favor of someone else. And normally I keep things like this to myself, but you know those times when you were in physical pain and all you can talk or think about is how much it hurts? That's what this is like. I feel it constantly and sometimes I just need to say it out loud.

Yeah constantly because no pain reliever will work for that. Maybe crying will help. Prayer also will help. Cry it out to the Lord. Heart problems can be good sometimes because it means that you have loved deeply but lost and you feel your humanity. I like this line from a song..."I would rather hurt than feel nothing at all"

Take it easy and get well soon.

I think next month's project is going to be finishing a knife blank. Not sure why, but it sounds like a fun project. I've got very little use for a knife outside of the kitchen, but I think I want to try my hand at some new handy craft.

When I'm at Walmart and have a saggy pants group walking in front of me, I get very impatient. PULL UP YOUR PANTS! They wear a belt but their jeans are so big that you see their underwear and sometimes their crack of dawn.

Me last Dec: I am done postponing my professional certification - Im going to find a course and enroll

Me in Feb: Course located, tuition reimbursement confirmed through employer- how exciting

Me Beginning of March: Cant wait for class to start only 3 weeks!

Me on Friday: Course syllabus arrived!! Super excited...print it out, grab textbooks, brand new shiney spiral and lets draft my timeline for next 11 weeks!!!

Me Friday Night: What have I done? This timeline is not realistic, who can read 5 chapters a week on average and retain the information to sit for cert exam at end of 11 weeks?!? A 20 something thats who!! Anxiety set in.

Either way...it's about to begin.

I think I've found out that CC is a very nice place as long as I pretend that this thread is the only one that exists :)

The things of this world will remain in this world but love is transcendent. Live simply and love deeply.

Like, a blanket made of knives?

Personally, I prefer an occasional dark ale, but if brandy is your thing, enjoy it with gusto! ;)

(and in moderation, of course)

Welcome to CC, by the way!
