Ten more days of sitting around doing nothing? I'd go crazy... uh, crazier.

I feel like I'm running downhill.

Not in a bad way like "Everything is going downhill!" I just mean, you know how if you try to run downhill, you end up going really fast but like, stomping because you're going downhill and you're trying to lean back but you have so much momentum that it's hard and then you have to reel yourself in when you get to the bottom?

I don't know if that makes sense but that's how I feel.

Pizza is now, officially, off my diet. This makes me sad.

None of my pants fit...they are all TOO BIG!!!! This makes me happy.

My seedlings are growing like crazy. This makes me happy.

Overall score for Tuesday March 28,2017 is +1 happy.

So this morning, while looking up pretty melodic bass guitarists on youtube, I read all kinds of comments putting bass guitarist who worked hard to be able to write their own music on their bass, saying that "chords on bass guitar are easier than on guitar" and "they were just bad guitarists who gave up and played bass instead". I was pretty grumpy, and decided to show off some guitar playing from someone who writes music on their own on their bass guitar.

Ive played bass guitar for years, after hearing Peter Hooks melodic bass on Joy Divisions "Love Will Tear Us Apart" I knew I wanted to play bass guitar. After a few years of playing bass I finally picked up a friends old acoustic and read a book teaching how to play guitar chords. It took me a few minutes just to learn some open chords : p

So yeah, I recorded this today. I barely ever touch my guitar, I really just bought it in hopes to one day add to my music on my bass guitar if I ever learn how to actually record music of my own. I dont play it much, and I didnt even tune it. I just picked it up and played this real fast in response to pompousy anti-bass guitarist on youtube, haha.

Even left them a message in the description : p

I don't know about guitarists, but I'm pretty regular. I eat prunes a lot. Not to keep me regular, I just like the taste of prunes.

I dont watch many guitarists on youtube, I know of a few but as for an actual number, I have absolutely no idea : p

I can say one thing, though. The guitarists on youtube have far more subscribers and views on youtube than the bass guitarists : p And if you find amazing solo bassists who write thier own music, the majority of the comments are 'you cant play bass like that" and "why not just play guitar?" and "hes not a bassist, hes just a bad guitarist who gave up and played bass" and "why is everyone going crazy about this guy, this is easier on bass than guitar".

People have been trained to be anti bass guitar : p

Yezara it is never, never a good idea to read the comments section of a YouTube video. Ever.

Also, that comment about you can't play a bass like that is completely antithetical to music. Music is about what you can do, not what you can't do. And obviously you can play a bass like that, because it is being played like that.

Sorry guys, I've been AWOL for a couple weeks. But it's for a good cause! I'm getting water in my house tomorrow, and I'm putting in new counters and a sink all by myself. My husband is taking some time off work, to finish up the wood-burning stove, and then mud and paint is going up. Right after that, we're doing floors and moving in! This should only take a week, but I'm thinking it might take 2 weeks at most. I can finally see a finish line, after 16 months.

Aww man, I didn't get a chance to respond in that thread before it was closed. I will, however, not stop being a bug in the ear of people who make it their mission to chase away anyone they deem unfit for CC.
You are not privy to all the unsavory details of the person's pm history with men. Not to mention, "she" coincidentally had taken my user name and added an h. The reason why I say "she" is because the things "she" was talking about to men via private message are things that a NonChristian woman would not immediately start talking to strange men about, much less a Christian woman. Anyway, I am convinced the "lady" you were defending was actually a man retaliating against me for refusing to send him my e-mail address, real name, pictures etc. I am so mortified that some one would impersonate me as some Lorelei seeking to lure men to their shipwreck, that I no longer even want to post on this forum. I am so embarrased, I decided not to post on the site (except the Ladies Forum) until I think this whole sorry episode is forgotten (I realize with this post I am dredging it up- but I thought you should know just exactly what it was you were defending).Perhaps I am being self centered, thinking I had my own personal troll, but I do not think the names were coincidental, as my username is rather obscure.

I would like to thank Magenta, Kaylagirl, and Blue Ladybug for calling a spade a spade.

Even if the user names are completely coincidental and a troll does not have a vendetta against me personally, the person was still not nearly as innocent as he portrayed himself to be on the forums.
