Yes bringing your own tools is of great benefit. Rockport is worse than Houston from what I hear. :( I vacationed there just a few weeks before this happened. It's so sad that's it's ruined now.

Do you live in Houston? There are so many CCers from Texas! Because Texas is the best state ever obviously. We need to have a get together someday. ;)

No you aren't. I deleted it :)

That said, I actually like this album. It has a few numbers with that beautiful tinge of melancholy mixed with that bittersweet softness that I always love about John Mayer's early songs. It feels like he's going back to his roots.

I can concede it isn't as genius as some of his previous work but its much better than his mid pop-rock phase :)

That'd be pretty magnificent. When his "Room for Squares" album first got popular I ended up buying the music/tab book for guitar. Unfortunately the book has been lost in the mix and I've forgotten much of what I've learned, but I wouldn't mind if he wrote some more stuff like it.

As much as i feel for the Florida dwellers, I feel even more for my brother while he will be there for clean up.
