Oh yes. It still holds ground. Memo and the person in question are still a match. (that just sounds so wrong)

Plato's match... I am not sure. Yes. It does too. Should I reveal the two persons? Memo's match has left CC and it is a person I kind of miss but he could be a bit too intense at times. GaryA was the one I was thinking of.

So many people come and go... but I think it’s more so to take a break..

That’s what I always do. “Disappear” for a few weeks/Months... then come back, and by that time... half the people I’ve gotten to know... just leave. :(

I'd been talking to a girl for a few months, kinda as friends. Met up once awhile back. A couple of weeks ago, she said she was into me.... wanted more. I've been into her from the start. We were supposed to have a date the other day. She cancelled, said she was sick. I haven't heard back from her. I just feel like I lost my best friend.

Join the club. At least you didn't cross the ocean to see her. I am sorry. I think a lot of how life could be being with a man. Caring for him and being cared for. I am not sure I will ever experience that again, but I feel like I am just half the woman I am supposed to be.

Single life sucks. I hope you will find a woman that deserves to be loved by you.

It was nothing like that... she only lives about 2 hrs away. I'm not even going to mess with a long distance relationship. Thanks

toinena do you have a problem there with people walking up and petting your dogs? I'm not sure what the culture over there is like.

I was at a convention center a few years ago and I saw a blind lady with a service dog. The service dog was in an "on duty" stance, alert and waiting. I asked the lady if it was permitted to pet the dog while he was on duty.

The lady replied, "Well at least YOU asked first. Most people don't." Apparently she had much experience with people walking up and petting the on-duty dog without asking.

People see a dog and they don't really LOOK at the dog and notice what the dog's attitude is, they just see "Oh look at the cute doggy!" and try to pet him. I was curious if you had a problem in your area with people trying to pet your dog while he was on duty.
