Fever & headache begin. Stupid flu shot. Atleast it helps against the bad flus out there. No dying for me. Why didn't I do this on a Friday?

I do believe 'tis coffee time. I kinda got woke up by everyone in my house deciding to bug me. My dad comes in my room, saying, "What good is the alarm on your phone when it's downstairs?" my only response was, "Mfsdlhkgdsjkh...." then he talked some more about I forget what, then left. THEN, my sister comes into my room, demanding I give her the location of her hairdryer...to that I actually DID say something. I said, "I don't know!" then I may or may not have said, "Leave me alone. -_-" dunno if that thought made it from my brain to my mouth or not.

Honestly. I do love my family. But I'm RRREEEAALLLYYY not a morning person. =\

Man, I dunno if I'll laugh or cry if God has me marry a morning person.

I heated some water to drink this morning, Lil. I realize that I may be the only person on the planet who doesn't mind drinking plain hot water, but it works for me. Nice and toasty, and I couldn't drink the juice until I'd had some fat as well unless I wanted to feel bad :).

well, you're in good company. while i may drink my weight in tea on some days, i start every morning off with hot water from the tea kettle and fresh squeezed lemon (sometimes lime). i find it far more invigorating that coffee!

Cool Monica, I don't drink coffee either :)! Although, if I were to put the lemon or lime in my water before eating anything, the acid would make me feel sick :p.

That does sound pretty good!!

Jilly - I try not to have coffee or something really acidic prior to eating, too. The acid tears my stomach up (I was stupid enough a couple of times to do it. NOT Fun). Though some days, I don't eat breakfast. Not because I think it wouldn't hurt to skip a meal or something stupid like that (though I DO need to lose weight.), but because typical breakfast stuff like eggs, bacon, cereal, pancakes, or waffles just don't sound good to me anymore. Toast has been working really good for me. But that can get expensive since it's gluten-free. I don't always want toast every morning at breakfast, either.

fascinating. i can't imagine. are you just sensitive to acid? i read something you wrote--that you can't drink juice either before a mealish item? i find that interesting too. my breakfast is usually kale-apple-cucumber-celery-spinach juice and i drink that after my big mug of lemon water.

i rather like coffee, but i don't need the stimulant. i wake up pretty spazzy as it is. besides, i've always found stretching and some yoga poses far more energizing than coffee.

are you a juicer also?

i love that commercial that says something about 'why do women think that losing weight starts with eating a small breakfast?'. i actually eat two breakfasts if you count my green juice and then i have these homemade flax muffins that i do in the microwave for 30 seconds, plus usually a couple hard boiled eggs.

i'm convinced that there's a relationship between eating breakfast and weight. i'm the smallest i've ever been in my life, and i can't help but think there's a relationship between eating breakfast (and lunch) -- something i never used to eat.

Same here! I love that commercial. Means I don't need to skip a meal! HOORAY FOR FOOD! :D

I actually have a juicer. I probably need to do something with it. Like do an apple and carrot and maybe add something like spinach, since spinach has such a mild flavor I'll eat it in a lot of things. I'll do eggs with spinach in it. What are some of your favorite fruit/veggie combos? I don't need to eat much in the mornings. Like, the two pieces of toast will last me 2 or 3 hours. Then depending on what time I had breakfast, I'll have some kind of snack or lunch.

Ewww, I don't understand how people can eat bacon and pancaces for breakfast. (Yea, we nordics are odd like that),
I'd normally recommend plain bread with yummy things on, but if you cant...... hummm, what about salad? Proper salad, not lettuce and cucumber, but with plenty of whatever you like.

I did have bacon and eggs for supper last night. That was good! I prefer to have stuff like that later in the day. It also makes it easier on my stomach to not have stuff like that in the mornings. I prefer to keep things fairly simple. I put natural peanut butter and raw honey on my toast. :D Though the natural peanut butter is not as natural as I'd like it to be (still probably has refined sugars in it. At least it doesn't have the preservatives), it's still good.

I haven't been able to find a decent salad in a while. Though I had one at Subway with turkey, banana peppers, spinach, and Italian dressing. I could have gone for a lot less Italian dressing. But it did the trick! Kept me full for a few hours. I had it at a little before 3 that day, and it kept me full till about 8:30, and I didn't even eat all of it because I was running late!

Now to buy banana peppers and turkey...
