so then my reply to ViolaCat should have been 'didn't effect' cus nothing changed.
That's the way I use it, I think it's right, but couldn't tell you for sure.

I just looked it up and there is mention of what tense it is used in...meh, i'll stick to my method as it has been proven to work. =)

Had my endoscopy today.

First IV attempt ranked up there as one of my most painful sticks. And, being the first, implies it didn't work. Second one i was given a little numbing, so they got it in alright. Count that, one blood draw and 5 IV attempts in 2 days. All quite painful. Plus i have 2 more IVs this week. And do to the Phlebitis in my left arm all the sticks have to go in my right.
The good news it though it felt like i was there longer, the whole thing went by really fast and i'm home hours early than i expected i might be.
He didn't find much in my stomach. Just food. 12 hours old food. Which is not normal. But other than that, there was nothing else mentioned. Or, perhaps i was still so sedated i don't remember. That was some really nice sedation.
Didn't hurt any that one of the nurses was really cute. haha... So the back of my throat is sore. But the air they pumped in isn't bothering me much. So.. i have no idea what to think of expect about my food taking so long to digest. And i was too stoned to think to ask at the time since i was still staggering slightly from the anestisia (yes, spelt wrong, i know) when they kicked me out the front door.

Tomorrow counseling. Thurs and Fri more IVs and Tues Vascular specialist.

Aaaaaand.....I've hurt myself.

I had a bunch of breakable junk on top of the cabinets in the kitchen, and I'm not quite tall enough to reach it. So I got a chair.

And I fell off the chair.

Because I'm just THAT cool.

Managed to twist as I fell, which screwed up my back, whacked my wrist on the stove and it's swelling, and bounced my head off the counter.

I need an "out of order" sign slapped on my forehead.

:( I hope none of those things end up being too serious. That sounds really painful...

gosh, wow, i am so sorry to hear about all that. out of curiosity, why don't they leave an iv line in you if you're having all these things done? while i'm doing my infusions, they give me the option of leaving my iv line in, since i have things scheduled only a couple days apart. i usually refuse, but once i did, and it wasn't bad. they tape it down and wrap it with that stretchy wrap so it's not a bother. i would encourage you to ask (or consider asking) since you're having such a rough time of it.

praying for you, ugly.

My sinuses are killing me today.

On a good note though, I finally got told that I was being quite ungrateful for the things I've been blessed with. So I said my "I'm sorry", and then prayed and told God I was thankful for everything I could think of at the moment. The next day, I carried a prayer of gratitude in my heart. My fiancé and I went to meet a lady about an apartment, and praise the Lord, we got it!
After that, my fiancé surprised me and got me a brand new phone!
I have my soon to be mother-in-law, to thank for giving me the gratitude lecture, and God to thank for being so unbelievably good to me, even when I didn't fully appreciate it.
My God is an awesome God!

Yeah...I think I'm ok though? Got a bump on my head and my wrist on ice (actually, once again a bag of frozen broccoli, except it's mine this time) and my back...can't bend currently, but it might feel better if I lay down a while. So, nothing serious, just annoying.

Did the breakable junk break and become junk?
Ha, surprisingly, the thing I was holding as I fell (a glass bottle incense burner deal) stayed in my hand- the one I didn't hurt- and then rolled gently across the floor.

Okay....after what felt like YEARS...

They told Dad that Mocha has an abnormality with his spine that can be corrected through surgery and has a pretty good chance of full recovery.

I'm hormonal (sorry guys) emotioral and hungry, today, starving, tired, hot and sort of feel like someone is twisting my stomach in knots. However I did have fun swimming with my kids, we played , the amazing baby cannon throw. They pretend they've babies , stand on my knees and I throw, jump in the water. I often wonder what the life guard thinks when I loudly say, ladies and gentle men, it's time for the amazing baby cannon throw. Oh the things you do for your kids.

Good news: I do infact qualify for assistance from college regardless of my stupid Neuro. It also helped that I was rediculously stupid during the appointment from the new med. I found out it has been nicknamed Stupamax and the supermodel drug cus it makes you dumber than a bag of rocks. But it's not just the med but the uncontrolled seizures. She wants me to call a provincial program that can help with tuition. I applied for 2 classes today and emailed work telling them I am going back to school in Sept. Woot woot!

It's supposed to be emotional and they. I really can't stand auto correct.
